Saxton were amazing all round. Luke R was extremely professional. There was absolutely no hard sell. To be honest they don’t need to use hard sell tactics. The cars are priced to sell, well presented and the in showroom experience is second to none. Thank you Luke!

"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!!"

AVOID!!!!!! The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Do not put a deposit down if you don't want to see it again.

Saw a car that we liked so returned to buy it.

Firstly was told that in their words "we have chucked in a 2 year warranty" and "managed to get you a ceramic coating", were told both of these were free, which at that point I thought how amazing the place was!! Was also told the finance would be no more than £400 per month. When we turned up for our 10am appointment (we left at 2:30pm) the finance papers were sent to my phone to sign. This is when the amnesia and lies started. The finance was £420 per month and the ceramic coat and warranty had been added to the cost of the car. When my wife and I questioned this, as we were told they were free, we were told that he had never said that and we had always known that we had to pay for them. The document said that the car had 2 keys when in fact it only had 1. When I questioned this, I was told that the paperwork was wrong and that the cost of the car reflected that it only had 1 key (the car was no cheaper than cars with 2 keys), even though the documents said it had 2 keys. A new document was swiftly sent across showing only 1 key. I then asked for a reduction for the missing key, 45 minutes later the salesman returned and offered us £300 off as that was how much the key would cost. It cost us £580.

I then asked to see the service history which the salesman went off to get. 30 mins later he returned and said there was no service history. I then asked when was he going to declare this, to which he said that I had never asked him if the car had one so it was my fault. I said that I assumed a 2 year old car would have a service history and he said that I shouldn't assume. At this point serious alarm bells went off. I asked for my deposit back and the keys to our car which we had part exchanged. He then stormed off shouting "I can't deal with this guy any more, someone else will have to deal with him". Another 45 mins with no-one coming back to us, I then asked another chap if we could have our keys and deposit back. He went and found the original salesman who gave us our keys but said we would have to wait for the manager to get our deposit back. The manager then appeared and basically patronised us, saying what lovely people we were and how he remembered us from our first visit as we were so wonderful, then assured me that he had spoken with our car manufacturer and could confirm that the car had a full service history and it would be emailed to us as soon as they had it later that day, I said I would take his word for it (stupid me). At this point, my wife and I were broken and just wanted to get out of there. We stupidly signed the paperwork and left with the new car.

When we went to our car (we were never offered a test drive or any one showing us round the car), the car was oddly running and had been the whole time we were there as we could see the car out the front of the showroom. We drove across the road to get some food, turned the car off, and when we tried to turn it back on it would not start. We called Saxton who sent over one of their men to boost the battery, he told us that by the time we got home the car would be fine. When we arrived home we turned the car off, tried to immediately turn it on, but again, it was dead. I called Saxton and they said to call the vehicle manufacturer as it still had warranty with them. I called the main dealer, who were excellent, sent out their assistance guy who confirmed that the battery was completely dead. I relayed this back to Saxton who said to get the main dealer to fit a battery and they would reimburse me. I had the battery fitted, called Saxton to ask how I get reimbursed to then be told (by same guy id spoken with earlier) that they could not pay me for the battery as I should have called Saxton and they would have had to recover the car to fit their own battery!!!!!!!!!! Another £310 down the drain. The main dealer then checked the so called service history, obviously there wasn't one. Another £460. They then told us that the brake pads were completely gone. Another £450.

One week later we unfortunately got a puncture, we took it to reputable tyre company to be told that all 4 tyres were second hand and had also been turned around to hide the baldness, they could tell that the tyres had been on a different car by how they were worn.We had to then have 4 new tyres. Another £812. This is so serious, defective tyres and no brake pads left, how this company have not been shut down I do not know.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - they do not care about their cars or customers and it is only a matter of time before someone has a serious accident. The salesmen are liars, seem to suffer from amnesia and just bluff their way through the sale. They are pushy and pressuring and quite frankly the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

"Volkswagen Tiguan"

Saw a car online so enquired about it, went down 3 days later to see the car however sadly was in the workshop so we did revisit the next week, put down my deposit and 2 days after that picked up the car and took it home!
Despite 2 occasions where I had to return as the car needed work, Jahan was an absolute saint and ensured the whole process was as painless as possible- an absolute delight to communicate with, kept in touch the entire time, sent me videos and photos of the car and always made sure we were happy and content each visit so a BIG thank you to Jahan for his assistance and help throughout this whole process!

As a second time buyer from Saxton 4x4 I was more impressed with their service even this time. Luke, the sales guy was very good and professional. He gave me all necessary details, he was delligent and courteous throughout the transaction. Bret, the guy that handled finance was equally very good. He was able to get a good deal for me. I was truly impressed.
