I was very cautious dealing with an independent dealer, instead of my regular visits to a main dealer.It has been surprisingly an amazing experience and especially dealing with Nish couldn’t have got better. He really brought the car to life and was extremely knowledgable and what an intelligent young man, who knew the specifications and even the exact colours. I couldn’t thank Saxton 4x4 on what a great high level of experience this has been.

Ish was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Made the whole process of buying a new car very easy and streamlined which can sometimes be stressful. Ish was also very welcoming and tended to our every need.

I went to look at 2 cars, got there and 1 was sold and I didn’t really like the other.
Asked for keys to another couple. One guy unlocked and just stood there on his phone. I had to ask for the key to turn it on.
Found another car suitable & took it for a test drive with Wesley who was amazing and really helpful but gave us the facts which we liked.
Then he handed me to Ish to complete the sale. I was buying the car not my husband. Ish spoke to my husband and gave him the paperwork - not me. As a women that annoyed me I was the customer not my husband.

I paid deposit agreed collection day - exciting Saturday!! Then get a call couple of days later to say there was a fault on the car so they could not sell it to me.
Sent me 2 other options same spec different colour. 1 more expensive. Wouldn’t match the original price though so ended up paying more.
My husband picked up the car. Got it home and realised it didn’t have the parcel shelf in it which it did in the pictures.
Chased a few times and then it was sent out to me.
Then few days after had a slow puncture with a massive screw in the tyres. I had barely driven the car so it must have been there before. I couldn’t prove it but very frustrating that within the first week I had to get a new tyre!

So, overall happy with the car but the service could be better (apart from Wesley!).
I get they have a high turnover but if you want people to come back then put a bit more effort in.

However, my experience with the individual handling the finance and paperwork was less positive, as they came across as somewhat unapproachable and lacking in enthusiasm. Despite this, Ish’s exceptional service made the overall experience worthwhile
