I waited for this lampshade for more than six months to get back in stock. When it finally arrived, the painting of the scalloped edge was not acceptable. I would love to post a photo but there is no option, sadly. I must add I already have this shade in blue and it is completely different, i.e. it is fine. So, beware of the hot pink version. Not great.

We visited the showroom at Redbrick in Batley with vague ideas of what we wanted… the staff, especially Faz, were so helpful. Nothing too much trouble, we tried various shades on various bases. Some were not immediately available but we were told exactly when new stock would arrive. We now have three gorgeous, quirky lamps and will definitely shop there again.

"Stunning lamp, amazing quality"

We recently stayed at our favourite hotel in Newquay. In our bedroom we had the most beautiful table lamps. They really were stunning and a quick peak at the label on the bottom showed they were from Pooky. On our return home I couldn't stop thinking about the lamps and a quick browse on Pooky's website showed that they were also available in a slightly smaller size which would fit better in our smaller bedroom. I took advantage of Pooky's first time discount code and took delivery of the lamp just a few days later. The lamp is just stunning and the shade is also beautifully lined. It was definitely an investment purchase, but every time I look at it, it fills me with joy and reminds me of our lovely break away.

Really like the website and ability to select different bases and shades to compare before making a purchase. I am very happy with the quality of green ceramic lamp base I chose, beautiful colour. However, the shade didn’t quite seem right, the proportions of base and shade were wrong. It was only when I put these together at home that this was clear. I have decided to return the shade. I will return to the website to look at alternative options.

"Battery life. "

Purchased the Hernan table lamp. Worked ok for 25 months then stopped recharging. So now it doesn't work obvs. Managed to get hold of Pooky "customer service" they told me it was out of warranty x2 years. £140 you'd expect to get 5 years out of it surely. Latest: they are sending a replacement lamp. Which is good service. However it’s not a very sustainable product if we have to throw the lamps away every couple of years. Increased battery life and battery replacement service is being researched.
