"Appalling customer service"

Absolutely appalling customer service, I returned a parcel which never arrived to them and I was asking if it was correct to go through them to start an investigation so I could get a refund. Didn’t get a respond for 3 weeks to then be told they have gone into insolvency but asked for all my order and return details to be told they can’t refund, never got got an answer if it was them I needed to go through for evri. Will never purchase anything from them again. Throughout all this there attitude was disgraceful!

I understand you have no responsibility to give me a refund and if you’d read the 3 emails Iv sent you properly it states that! After reading the info on Evris website I was asking if the correct procedure was to go through yourself to start an investigation as my parcel I was returning was lost and it is evri that need to issue me a refund as they have lost the parcel. And also you have not been as nice as possible you have treat me like I am stupid and don’t understand even though it is you guys that asked for my order details even after telling me of the insolvency to see if you could help which I sent back and was met with a obnoxious response all because you guys can’t read.

Company has gone into administration as of 22/12/2023. See for yourself on Companies House - registration number 09722352. I have an outstanding return that was lost by Evri and now i get no comms at all from them. Raising a case with PayPal so fingers crossed.

"Just don’t bother"

Ordered one item in September, noting that it was ordered in and could take sometime to arrive. Contacted customer services for an update in October and was just told that it wasn’t currently in stock. I’ve now tried 3 times to get an update and request a refund however I get there standard auto reply and nothing to follow up.

Do not buy from this company. It’s a scam and a bit of a joke..

I am also being harassed by them by emails from various companies that I assume are linked in some way

"If I could give zero stars I would"

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered 2 items back in September item number 1 a jacket never arrived there was a handwritten message on the delivery note saying that it wasn’t available ( they still took full payment though). Item 2 was no use to me without item 1 so I returned unopened and untried on via Evri using the ( paid for by me) return label I was told to use. Evri didn’t complete the tracking report and therefore no PayPal refund available due to insufficient return information. 100% scammed. In response to the below reply. I am fully aware of phoenix companies and how they reappear and can continue to scam people. Rest assured I will not be stupid enough to send you another penny of my money EVER.

"Unreliable custo service. Seeking advice atm."

I ordered a sizeable number of items, but some came far too small. As advised by customer service and the website, I paid for returns postage because this would be refunded in exchange for the items (total of £69.98) I returned using Evri (proof of postage/return sent to BC4U). Unfortunately, despite all my attempts to contact them for over a month now, the only acknowledgement I received from BC4u (message received from Jamie) was to say that they had received the parcels back and that a return/exchange would be processed in a couple of days.. this was back in November (16/11 to be exact). After this, I tried to follow up on the exchange process and refund of postage and only received automatic messages but no reply. Their number does not pick up calls or their WhatsApp (I tried calling and sending messages but had no luck).

This used to be a reliable company. Avoid at all costs.

"Dreadful after sales returns experience."

Ordered a jumper, but came far too small. Paid for returns postage, which I thought was free. Evri/Hermes collected the parcel return from my home address and acknowledged that in writing. BC4u say as they have not received the parcel back they have to put in a lost parcel claim. I cannot have refund until they get the parcel from me. As it is clearly a problem between them and their courier why should I be penalised when its totally out of my control. Plus I have paid two lots of postage, plus VAT which will go to the government for doing nothing and I have neither a jumper or a refund.DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS COMPANY !!!!!

"Order not received"

I placed 2 orders, One order was with Uptheir.co.uk and the other order was with Big Matts.co.uk. The first order was just over £100 for a jacket, smart shirt and a hoodie, the second order was for 3 extra long ties. Both orders were supposed to be delivered by Royal Mail so I was surprised to receive an email from Evri saying my order from Big Clothing 4 U was going to be delivered seeing as I hadn't ordered anything from them. The delivery was late morning and the proof of delivery photo shows a reused box left on front door step in full view of any passers by. My partner got home from work at 6pm and I got home from work after 9pm. The parcel wasn't there when my partner got home. I searched all of Evri's normal dumping locations and asked my neighbours. NO PARCEL. I asked Big Clothing 4 U what my order had been from the parcel tracking number and it was all the items from the 2 orders combined. I have emailed and telephoned both vendors I ordered from and Big Clothing 4 U who sent the parcel. None of the companies answer the phone, and the email says it will take up to 28 days for an investigation by Evri. When parcels have gone missing that I have ordered from other companies who used Evri. I have been sent replacements or given a refund within 24Hours of my complaint. It is NOW 7 DAYS since package went missing and there has been no restitution

"SCAM Money Stolen From Returned Goods"

Returned items on 2nd November (had to pay return postage, even though the site advertises 'free returns') now the 28th November and still not got my money back.

Why?

EDIT: I have contacted Touker-Suleyman (Dragons Den) who gave the following info "Unfortunately the company did not accept my investment and declined the investment.

UPDATE: My money has now been refunded by my credit card company under breach of Section 75 Protection. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE.

ADDITION: Company 'Big Clothing 4 U Limited' has gone into liquidation and now operating under trading name: ELIZABETH MANN RETAIL LIMITED, no doubt to avoid paying back the thousands they have swindled. Julia Suzanne Nelson is now the new company director, she was the 'project manager' at Big Clothing 4 U and is named as directors in numerous companies Ben Pearson has/is running.


19th Jan: As can be seen below, multiple fake positive reviews have begun to appeared, they have been reported but Trustpilot is very poor in taking down fake reviews.
