"The ward rubbish is not even enough to…"
The word rubbish is not even enough to describe how bad is this company , im a manager in a hotel in earls court and we have been every day on the phone with them chasing for deliveries ,, very quick on demanding payment but very slow to resolve problems ,

"Unprofessional."
There's a constant turnover of the management team / staff which leads to many changes with repetition of mistakes as each manager tries to make their mark which is clearly visible with the very poor Health and safety, staff wellbeing.
Personal hygiene is also a massive problem here bearing in mind Elis customers include the Health industry, Hotels etc.
Over the 7 months of working here I was not supplied with PPE only work shoes, no t-shirt, trousers etc .
I won't be leaving this review on for long due to the embarrassment of once working here at Elis Southampton.

"No evidence of quality control whatsoever"
I work for probably the largest state-owned organisation (NHS) in the UK and Elis are contracted to provide and launder sheets, pillow cases, blankets, towels, gowns etc.
With regard to laundering, this tends to be good, but when it comes to folding I am thoroughly appalled. It beggars belief that items can be so poorly folded and batched when it must be easier and quicker for them to be folded correctly in the first place. So many of the laundry cages arrive with items in such disarray that if I had any say in the issuing of contracts and the tendering process, Elis would never get a look in.
Replenishing the linen on wards takes at least 25% longer than it should, due to the need to constantly re-count and re-fold items in order to maintain some degree of volume accuracy and general tidiness.
Quite how much of Elis's folding is carried out by hand and how much by machine I do not know, but surely they must have human quality control? Though on the evidence to date, I see little if any proof of this.
My verdict - Abysmal. Don't go near Elis with a barge pole.

"Cannot be trusted"
Which ever staff member was working on Sunday 26th February at the lancaster branch and lives on wheatfield mews instead of handing it to the management stole my disabled brothers phone that the nurses accidentally put in the laundry in manchester royal infirmary after the waste manager at the hospital told me he had been in touch with them to let them know to look out for it. The company refused to confront the employee even though I have tracking proof so its now with the police. The employee has now either sold it on to a shop or left it somewhere to try and get them to unlock it as its on a retail area round the corner. This company cannot be trusted to do the right thing and the employees certainly can't.

"I WORKED FOR ELIS.COM"
I WORKED FOR ELIS.COM, WEST BROMWICH FOR A FEW WEEKS, I WAS DISGUSTED BY MANAGEMENT & A FEW OLD SKIN HEADED RACISM LOSERS. I NEVER STUDIED THEM AS I TAUGHT THEM A LIFE LESSON & I MOVED ON LIKE A MODERN CARAVAN BUT YOU SHOULD NEVER WORK FOR THIS SCAM COMPANY. I AM NOT SURE HOW MONEY JAMES SAVILE PEDOPHILES INSIDE ELIS-WEST-BROM, BRANCH? I WOULD INVESTIGATE ONE DAY!

Revoyez votre recrutement !

"STAY AWAY"
we have been trapped with them for many years. Their garments did not last the contract length. then we gave notice but 3 months before the auto renewal and it needed to be 6 months, so although the garments were rags and we were buying elsewhere for our workers they made us stay a further year locked into a contract paying for no service! Their customer service is awful, staff changing and if you email they dont respond. if they replace a garment a new contract is automatically commenced on that garment which means you can never escape them without it costing you. Wouldnt use them again - ever

"Steer clear, terrible communication, high turnover of staff, missing garments and inadequate system"
We have tried to sort out lots of issues we have had over the past 3 years and spent so much time trying to resolve with this company I wouldn't recommend them to anybody, I've never known anything like it. The only time they replied to an email quickly was when we terminated our contract.
We had multiple account managers after one after the other left (5 in total) Numerous employees in the Fakenham office customer facing roles left and new people started, only to leave again very quickly. This just shows the complete shambles of a company this is.
Problems we experienced was missing garments, slow repairs and relabels, no communication when trying to resolve these issues. Tried to escalate the complaint and kept getting passed back to an inadequate customer service manager who himself agreed the service we received was shocking and he wouldn't be surprised if we left.
Our invoices more than doubled in price over the fixed contract period and no one willing to advise why.

"Stay Away"
Serving a notice period at the end of a Contract we have been charged for services not received and had monies removed from our Bank without permission. The quality of repair and replacement garments has been dreadful, leave well alone.

"On 5th May I spoke to Elis and sent…"
On 5th May I spoke to Elis and sent them the below email yet no-one has responded?
Morning,
At 8.25am this morning, one of your van drivers hit a cyclist at the junction of Brook Drive and Kennington Road SE11 6SF.
The collision made a loud bang, but your driver did not stop. People were shouting at him / her from the street to stop, but they didnt.
The least your driver should have done is stop to see if the cyclist was ok, and to see if there was any damage caused to the bike as well.
I tried to take a photo of the van's number plate but a cyclist is in the way - see attached.
I will be contacting the police if I do not get a suitable reply from you.
