For the home user this is backup is useless, only cold storage can be synced meaning if you need anything you will have a wait time...
As for vault storage no way to upload folders
I would recommend box or google drive over this any day.

I have the lifetime subscription with 1tb cold and 1tb vault storage from a web offer... Vault storage can only be accessed with a browser, and the cold storage is managed by the desktop app... However, it sometimes becomes impossible to backup files. The desktop app just keeps uploading a file and it takes maybe days to finish (if it can finish) a single file. And while the app is open, my internet bandwidth is totally used so i can't even open a google page. So i don't know why the app can't finish uploads and use all the bandwidth even i set it up to use a small portion of the bandwidth. The support team responded me nicely but they said i should just remove the backed up folders in settings and restart and add them again... It worked for a while but then back to the beginning... After all, you get what you pay so i can't complain. I will have my work protected for a life time... I could give 5 stars if i could just leave the desktop app there and see the job finished but it never finishes, i always have to check and do something.

System seems Attractive BUT its very Buggy and unstable and support seems to be handle by newly passedout kids ..
Problems :
1) system fetched wrong files from google drive (google server)
2) onedrive data is 350 gb BUT they fetched only 37 gb
3) phone syncs get stopped for no reason

Regarding your issues :
1) About importing Google Drive's files, may I ask if your machine went to sleep during the process? Also, which web browser are you using?
2) About the app's issue, please try to uninstall and reinstall it and see if that helps.

update 8 may 2018
9 days back i had teamviewer session with support and they found that there is bug and m still waiting for solution of it .... Windows Drive and Google Drive are still messy

"Great customer care"
No company is perfect, so what matters most is the customer care and support they provide. With Zoolz I had a very positive experience when a tiny administrative issue came up and it was promptly and efficiently resolved (even though I had accessed the service through an amazingly cheap third party bargain offer, and was therefore on the "lowest tier" of customers ;).
