"Use fictitious courier rates to boost bottomline"

Here is a copy of my email to Van Style.

They have had a week to respond and failed to do so, this is the sort of business that needs to go under in our next recession. Enough said.

Dear Sir, I just wish to register my less than complete satisfaction regarding a very small order I placed on 220922.

When I questioned in our phone conversation the postage of £5.88 on a £1.99 order the male at the other end of the phone stated that was the figure his computer was showing for the courier company.

Absolute BS.

The item was despatched by Royal Mail the following day for the sum of £2.85, it also took several days to arrive. Other companies I ordered small parts from the same day managed next day delivery.

I feel this sort of service is fairly poor, small components is not an excuse to price gouge customers for a delivery service that was not used.

I attach a picture of the padded envelope in case you doubt my version of events.

So all in all less than satisfied to put it mildly, the reason was delay in contacting us was that I left for Europe the following week.

"Crafter bonnet stone guard"

Excellent service kept informed all the way through purchase quick delivery had the misfortune to break a plastic clip when fitting but it was replaced f o c with one phone call well pleased with crafter bonnet stone guard

Bought a short nose bonnet deflector from vanstyle 2018, and my mechanic has broken of 4 of the brackets.Just spoke to Ben at Vanstyle who is sending out a set of new brackets FOC. Fantastic service as usual 5 Stars

"Avoid this company at all cost"

Avoid this company at all cost , so 12 days and no part delivered . But Iv also got to wait 30 days to get a refund on a part Iv never even seen , or it will be when they feel like it , for the item Iv not received ,they know full well Iv not received it as it’s with their currier still , 25 emails , !!! All trying to be smart . they could not care less if Iv received the part or not , .massive mistake trying to purchase a part of this lot …

"Couldn’t be anymore helpful."

Absolutely outstanding service from Vanstyle yesterday. Especially Ben.
I went to get a few bits for my bus and he couldn’t be more helpful with a great knowledge of the products. Pointing out what would be best.
With being very new to this scene there was no pretentious attitude and Ben couldn’t of been any more helpful.
It’s customer service like that which seems to be lacking these days.
Thanks Vanstyle, it’s service like that which makes customers return time & time again.

"Superb after-sales service from…"

Superb after-sales service from Vanstyle. Despite it being over 18 months since I purchased the roof bars for my MB Vito, Vanstyle were able to find and send out a replacement cover part that flew off in the wind (I presume).

Well recommended!

This Review is mainly based on two things. The incredibly bad customer service and the level of disregard for customers and the quality of the products.

I'm usually pretty good at checking reviews but in this case, I didn't.

Whoever is dealing with customers on the phone needs to stop - the manner in which they approach complaints is terrible. They're rude, ill mannered and sounds as though they can't be bothered - I think that's because they can't. I was only asking why my order was late. First up was Christmas rush, second it was Covid. I felt like it was an excuse. I asked why didn't you let me know, I was told we can't tell all 800 customers that their order will be late. YES YOU CAN if you don't want to annoy your customers. It arrived a week late.
Secondly, the quality of the products are not very good. The curtains are really cheap as is everything else. I'm guessing they are just selling cheap imports off or something. My advice is to shop around, pay a bit more if needed. It's a shame they've had so many bad reviews but they need to start thinking about what they are doing.
