"The Aventamax bike was brilliant"
The Aventamax bike was brilliant. Unfortunately the bike was too small for me ,so I had therefore to return it to Furosystems . Emmanuelle at Furosystems was absolutely brilliant . She explained to me exactly what to do to return the bike and she organised it to be picked up and returned . I cannot speak too highly of the assistance and help I received , all in a very respectful and patient manner. If the situation happened again I would have no hesitation of dealing with Furosystems again.

"Cant fault the bike absolutely love it"
Cant fault the bike absolutely love it, delivery was under 2 weeks . Small issue the instructions could be a little more concise with other than building the bike no detail to install front brake and better detail on using the computer would be nice but not a major issue as Furo react to emails quite quickly

"great bike"
Great bike. Good price.
Slightly late arrival but not too bad and I was kept informed.
But overall very happy.

"Excellent product"
Surprised how quickly it arrived. Excellent product, easy to assemble. Fantastic bike at this price point.

"The bike was delivered on time"
The bike was delivered on time, and quite easy to assemble. My first ride was wow. I live by quite a few hills and over the years it became harder to clime on my conventional bike, but not anymore. Its given me a new lease of life. The only reason that I gave it four stars instead of five, is having to turn the bike upside down to insert or remove the battery. So real its five stars

"Bike supposed to fit up to 6'4" but…"
Bike supposed to fit up to 6'4" but slightly too small for me at 6'3". Handlebars unable to be raised enough. Bike is ride able but not as comfortable as it could be.

"This has been a terrible experience"
This has been a terrible experience. The bike I received was faulty, after contacting Furosystems, I had to wait over a week for someone to pick up my (dangerously) faulty bike, and had very little contact in between. Manzi who I dealt with has been largely dismissive, with very little detail as to what the next steps would be to fix this problem.
Before the bike was collected, I decided I had given up on this company, and requested a full refund once the bike was received, this was accepted. However, my bike was delivered 3 days ago, and I have had radio silence ever since, any attempt at contact goes without reply. I have no bike, no refund, and no clue what is happening next.
Avoid this company, the built quality is not good enough and they simply do not have a customer service experience. Their phone line rings through for 20 seconds and cuts you off and their email replies are sporadic and undetailed. Maybe you will be lucky and not need to contact them, but I wouldn't take the risk

"Turned out was worth the wait"
Like other Aventa customers, the wait for the bike was somewhat excessive and communication was sometimes frustrating. That's the bad stuff.
I am not new to ebikes having owned and used since 2005. Things to consider:
My 2005 ebike cost £1500 back then. The battery supplied was only good for around 15 miles at best.
The last ebike purchase prior to this was £2000. The bike was superior but the electrics were substandard by comparison and to cap it all they cannot/will not provide a replacement battery as they have changed the design. As an entirely bespoke design their only suggestion is for me to convert to their new design at a cost of £1000+ per bike (I bought 2)
The Aventa performs flawlessly, is a surprisingly capable hill climber for a 250w hub design and is virtually silent which none of my others have been.
The handlebars are too low for my liking, but you do get used to them, and I personally prefer front hubs because you get all wheel drive and punctures are easier to fix. I also would have preferred Schwalbe Marathon Plus over the inferior Kendas supplied, but it is a fine cycle except for the excruciating saddle which I have replaced with a Rido R2.
I had considered both Van Moof S3 and Cowboy, even putting a deposit on the Van Moof. A quick read of the recent reviews of those cycles show that I had a lucky escape perhaps.
Thanks Furosystems
