"Re-requests email verifications for chat transcripts within less than 2 weeks"

I have been using your live chat service through the Swedish auction site Tradera.

Each time I have to explicitly request a chat transcript to be sent to my inbox when the chat ends. Only that is frustrating, of course I should receive a chat transcript without asking for it.

And almost every time I receive a "Verify your email address" email instead of the actual chat transcript.

Failing to click the link inside within a month or so results in no chat transcript being sent. Please notice that if you find the email several months later and then click the link will look like it works but no chat transcript will be delivered.

If I check my inbox I find four "Verify your email address" letters from support at livechat.com during a period of less than half a year. They are dated 2021-06-11, 2021-08-06, 2021-08-18(!) and 2021-11-05.

The most damning is the short period in August. LiveChat then required me to re-verify my email within less than 2 weeks.

This is both irritating and dangerous, the contents of chat transcript often contain important details that must be delivered. Of course I understand you want to verify my email even if the company you are providing your services to should be assumed to have the correct email address. And I accept to verify it, but only ONCE (1).

"I love your product but too expensive..."

I like the product, but I stopped using it. I give it 1 star only because the behavior and marketing politics of the company destroy the goodness of the product.

I stopped using LiveChat Inc. products because I wanted to use the whole package, Live Chat, Chat Bot, Help Desk, and Knowledge Base. I ended with 5 invoices summing too much for my budget.

The WhatsApp integration is the most expensive I have ever seen. On all the other platforms I have been it is free. You have to pay for everything, pay and pay and pay.

The chat widget displays a 'Powered by Livechat' banner that links to their site stating, how, the page you just left uses LiveChat, why don't you try it as well, blah blah blah. I contacted those people, and despite I had a Business account, they refuse to remove their intrusive advertising on my site. It is as if a company was advertising using my backyard or any of my house's outside walls. It is unacceptable!!!!!

Those people are greedy, they only think about getting your money.

Finally, I had some bad experiences chatting with them. Not the usual treatment you get in a US company. Well, they are not in the US, that explains it all.

To finish, there are lots of live chat solutions, keep away from this one!...

"Choose Another Service"

LiveChat was difficult to set up, use, and manage. LiveChat also nickeled and dimed us to death. By adding a few more agents, we nearly quadrupled the cost of our subscription. We only discovered this when the bill came in for the following month. One of our agents was a test. In using the product for three months, we paid over $130. We found the pricing structure murky and unclear. We were promised a three month discount. We did not expect to spend so much money. Going with LiveChat was a mistake. We will not be using their services again.

THESE GUYS ARE UNBELIEVABLE!!

I only registered this morning & the service I have been given is some of the finest I've ever seen!

I had an online specialist that was available for me to talk to when I needed it & was always on hand with speedy answers and help (thank you Hanna!!)

Not just that but within 10 minutes of advertising our new love chat option, it generated big views to ym site & a sale already!!

Thank you so much guys! I wish I could give you 10 stars!

"Support team are available 24/7/365!"

One of the best live chat softwares I’ve ever used! It’s awesome! Customisation is great. I have the team plan which is great because you can use multiple branding which means I can use it on multiple businesses with the same account. 100% recommend it! Support team are really helpful - available 24/7/365 Even during lockdown they’ve been really helpful and always online!! It’s awesome, if your looking for a live chat software then this is the one you should get!

"Dreadful for the customer"

Dreadful for the customer. IKEA uses this. It won't let you finish completing the form to get on to the system before it refreshes and says all the agents are not available. Spent hours trying to get on the queue. Terrible queue management. So happy for the developers that it is easy to implement. But it does nothing for the actual retail customers of the service.
