"Poor quality plants & customer service"

I was a member of the subscription for 3 months. Of the three plants I received, 2 were in extremely poor quality upon arrival. When I raised this issue with the customer services team, providing photos as evidence the response I received was on how to care for the plants. No apology or assurance that this wouldn't happen again. No offer of compensation. They simply do not care about you or the plants they send out. They just want to make as much money as possible. Do not buy from them if you want your plants to be alive when you receive them.

"Happy, healthy plants but not a great selection for pet owners"

They have had some Covid19 delivery issues, but otherwise always delivered in time. Plants are often smaller than expected and don’t always fit the suggested plots but, apart from one fern I bought, they arrive healthy and thrive. The only reason for my 4* review is that I wish they’d stock a wider range of pet friendly plants, such as lemon trees and orchids. Also, you can’t have a pet friendly monthly club membership. These two things together mean I also shop online at the RHS, Hortology and Beard & Dasies. The health and quality of plants is great though, worth paying a little bit extra for as I find plants from cheaper stockists or supermarkets don’t last anywhere near as long, often coming with various plant health problems due to not being cared for properly. I’d highly recommend them as one of a range of places to get your house plants from.

"Really pleased with the whole service"

Really pleased with the whole service. Plants delivered quickly and very well packaged. My new green friends are really healthy and thriving, and the instructions on plant care are well laid out and easy to follow. Will definitely be purchasing again, and taking out a subscription once I have a bit more space to establish my household oasis!

Poor quality plants and half of the order missing. 1 wrong plant and no offer of assistance.
And they charged my debit card for the lot!

"This is the worst online shopping…"

This is the worst online shopping experience ever. I paid £130 for a plant and container for my sisters 50th birthday. It came late, no pot, leaves falling off and looked dreadful. Contacted customer service numerous times and there is no returns.... gave me a £30 refund but the pot cost me that and said don’t worry the leaves will grow back. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

"I could not recommend Bloombox enough!"

I could not recommend Bloombox enough! I have now used them for single purchases 4 times over in the last two months alone.

There ease of process and efficient, timely delivery as well as the environmentally friendly packaging impressed.

The products themselves are great, and whoever I’ve sent them too loved them!

I will be using Bloombox again and again.

Furthermore, my partner has been a subscription member for well over a year and loves it.

"Plants have not arrived!"

Ordered two plants and a pot from the website after seeing a sponsored ad on Instagram.
Date of order was 24th July 2020.
Received 'order on its way' email on 28th July 2020 with a tracking number for Hermes.
There have been no updates since. Hermes have not receive the package.
Followed guidance on when to contact (5 working dates) but there has been no response and apparently if you keep emailing them you get pushed to the back of the queue meaning further wait times.
Compared to other companies I have used, Bloom Box Club have been extremely slow and I am unlikely to use them again in the future.
Depending on if I receive my plants, I may provide an updated review based on the quality.

"It has to be a mixed review"

It has to be a mixed review: I ordered a large Swiss Cheese Plant in June, but what arrived was a large Calathea in what looked like a pot from the seconds bin (I wouldn't have bought it if I'd seen it in a shop, unless it had been very much reduced in price). The customer service was great, and I was told to keep the (very healthy) Calathea, and that a replacement Monstera (and another pot) would be sent. Unfortunately, after much delay, when they eventually arrived, the plant turned out to be quite sickly. Three stems and leaves fell off as soon as it was (very carefully) removed from the packaging, and two more fell off over the next few days. I have had a few other plants from Bloombox (lockdown led to something of an addiction!), and all have been healthy (including the Miniature Pineapple Plant I hadn't even ordered, and the free 'Imperfect' Calathea that came with another order), so it is unfortunate and disappointing that the plant I originally wanted ( I last had a Cheese Plant about 40 years ago, making it a bit of a nostalgic purchase), has turned out to be so unhealthy. Hopefully, a little bit of TLC will do the trick, and it will recover eventually. All in all, I am probably up on the deal, as I have three plants and two pots, when I only originally ordered one of each, so I shouldn't really complain!
