"Good site for vacation rentals."

This platform was very helpful and worked with the Plum Guide platform to help us find a place in London. The apartment we rented was exceptional. Very open floor plan, balcony overlooking the Thames, close to overground rail system. The apartment had all the necessary appliances, including a washer and dryer. The beds were extremely comfortable with quality linens. The apartment was very clean. The team was very responsive to any questions or issues that arose.

"A good accommodation when initially…"

Excellent stay and service

A good accommodation when initially booked but there was a drainage issue in the bathroom. OFS attended to our complaint and moved us to another suitable and better accommodation the next day with no extra cost. They apologised by offering a picnic basket full of goodies and a bubbly. I would suggest OFS to arrange cleaning twice a week rather than once every eight days.

"BE FOREWARNED"

BE FOREWARNED: DO NOT BOOK WITH ONE FINE STAY!!

Like many of the reviewers below, we had similar experiences. I honestly can't believe this company is still in business. Here are some of the myriad issues we had with (what seemed online like a gorgeous) 3-bedroom Parisian apartment booked through OFS:

Wifi that barely worked (in one spot in living room it worked sometimes...); moldy washing machine; moldy soap in master bathroom; piles of books and magazines on the floors; drawers piled high with owner's belongings even drawers "on limits" to guests; owner's dirty laundry left under kitchen table.

I can't emphasize enough how the owners' belongings where ubiquitous; it truly felt like we suddenly invaded someone's apartment without them having had time to tidy up.

The response from OFS was "I'm sorry you were disappointed. If you'd like a 10% voucher towards your next stay with us you can have one."

Really?? Stay with them again??!! No way. Don't make the same mistake we did.

"Needs Work for a Truly “Fine” Stay"

We rented 2 London apartments from One Fine Stay (summer 2019). Both apartments were nicely decorated and in good locations. Customer support from the local office was very good, thoughtfully responsive and quick. So why do we offer only 3 stars for these rentals? The greeter in the first home seemed mostly interested in leaving as quickly as possible and was minimally helpful. The apartment had a couple of rooms blocked to us, one of which was pictured on the OFS site as included in the rental. Also blocked to us were all the dishes in the apartment. Both problems were resolved quickly, but having to problem-solve immediately on arrival isn’t a good introduction. The greeter in the second apartment was helpful and pleasant, but he wasn’t knowledgeable about some of the basics of how to use things. Neither apartment had any written instructions (e.g., user manuals) for the appliances which are always helpful and often supplied by OFS competitors. The fact that there was major construction in the street in front of the second apartment rental was never mentioned in advance of our booking. So overall, OFS feels like an early stage start-up. It needs more work to get things truly right. In addition, our experiences with their competitors have been much better, so that’s who we’ll use in future.

"OFS in New York should be renamed to "One just OK Stay""

OFS in New York is not on the same level of experience as OFS in London. It is a Good stay (comparitavely), but not a Fine stay. This conclusion was drawn from having stayed in each city multiple times with OFS, over the last few years.

Where OFS NYC really lacks is communication and due diligence practices. Our "manager" was MIA during the 2 pivotal times - the arrival and the departure. When we had an issue with our initial accommodation, with condescending dismissal we were told that we should have read the fine print. We did, the fine print (or the photography) did not cover embedded foul smells, deep filth, broken aircons, filthy + broken kitchen/laundry equipment, a tiny bed, squeaky matress, smelly pillows, etc. This person has misconstrued our comments to the supervisor that we simply didn't like the visual aesthtics. Most communication with the "manager" took place via impersonal emails that ended with phrases like "have a great day", without resolving the issues.

After several exchanges, I have come to realize that the "managers" have not even been to the properties or understand the level One Fine Stay should meet, and therefore could only refer to the fine print.

If you are thinking of staying with OFS, I suggest to put together a list of questions of what's important for YOUR comfortable stay and send them in before you book. There are no refunds, after 24 hours of booking.

OFS asks you to fill out a questionnaire that includes questions about your flight + arrival details. We filled it out twice but it seems that the appropriate person in NYC doesn't read them. If your flight is running late or early, you have to call them to make sure they are aware. Our manager was not tracking our flight (with technology today, it's as easy as a touch of a button) and did not check emails after 5:30pm or during the weekends.

The superstar of our experience was the Direction of Operations. She was highly professional, reliable and a problem solver. Most importantly she understands the definion of a fine stay and the level of service that goes into that. Actually, everyone who works directly under her was great. Unfortunately, she can't be in 10 places simultaneously and do everyone's job.

The experience in London, as a guest, has been great. Communication is quick, courteous and reliable. Homes, old or new, are always clean, well equipped and comfortable.

"Beautiful place"

Beautiful place, easy to find, friendly check-in. Very clean. Any question I had during my stay, sent via email, was quickly answered, and addressed the same day. The "Location" is confusing on booking sites, because it showed the location of the main office, not the location of the property, in my case that was fine, but might be more important to others.

"Onefinestay is a waste of your money"

This company holds itself out as a luxury Villa booking service. Beware. They do nothing to vet the quality of the homes. if you were looking for a turnkey operation with a high level of service, go someplace else. I moved into a house full of bugs, a dirty grill, and a house with inadequate air conditioning on the North shore of Kauai. You're way better off on Airbnb where you can at least read numerous reviews about the quality of a property. When I complained, they told me to buzz off, never even sending somebody to clean the grill.

"A wonderful experience!"

We had a wonderful experience! Every part of the booking and stay went so smoothly. The apartment we rented in Paris was gorgeous and just as advertised. There was a record-breaking heatwave in the city during our stay, but onefinestay stocked the apartment with several fans and they sent us several suggestions of places to visit and ways to stay cool. Communications from onefinestay were smooth and everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was exactly what we'd hoped for!

"My Paris Experience with Onefonestay"

I have had the best experience dealing with OneFineStay during my stay in Paris. The team is very professional and they respond to all my queries in a short period of time.

They are really effective communicators. They are easy to reach, and always helpful.

They earned my respect.

The apartment was clean and they provided weekly cleaning at no extra cost. All instructions were printed and provided in the apartment.

Internet was available and fast.

Thank you for performing at this level. You have to always keep it up and try to exceed customer’s expectations.
