Ich habe das Trike ins Blaue hinein gekauft und war von der soliden Verarbeitung und den Featuren die das Trike bietet positiv überrascht. Ich kann mit MS endlich wieder radfahren und auch wieder ins Gelände und in die Berge.
Der Zusammenbau war problemlos, das benötigte Werkzeug lag bei. Die Beratung war sehr gut und der Service einwandfrei.

"I just love my Jorvik tricycle"
I just love my Jorvik tricycle. It came within a few days of buying it. Even though I have had spine surgery and pain in the usual parts as we get older 😊, riding this bike just takes my attention away from the aches and pain. The staff are so amazingly friendly and helpful. They talk you through what you don’t understand and make you feel comfortable when answering your questions. Thank you 🙏🏾 guys for your support.

"Absolutely amazing service."
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The ease of ordering was great. I wanted to surprise my wife as she has mobility issues. So I ordered the tricycle. When it arrived her face lit up. She had not ridden a bike in over 30 years so this was going to be a challenge for her.
I built the trike for her and there were no immediate issues. However when I took it for a test run I'd did have a problem that I couldn't solve. So, I emailed Jorvik and Leanne asked to send them a video. I did that and they replied with the solution within 24 hours.
The problem was sorted. Brilliant.
My wife went out for her first ride and only managed to get around the block..but a little patience and now she can get a couple of miles without having to stop.(she was laid up in hospital for months so she hasn't a lot of strength in her legs yet) I'm sure with more time she will gain the strength she needs to travel anywhere on her trike. It is a new lifeline for her.
We cant thank Jorvik enough. From the first order to the fault findng and resolution, you have been amazing. The customer service is second to none. We will recommend you to everyone. We already have passed your info on to 6 other people.

Jorvik tricycles are the very best in their field and their customer service/ support is second to none even when it’s not their fault but other “professionals “ who have incorrectly assembled your tricycle. They have given me so much help over the last few weeks I cannot fault them they are first class. They are always there for you. A big thank you to all the staff at Jorvik Tricycles.

"I am absolutely delighted with my new…"
I am absolutely delighted with my new Jorvik trike! I ordered it on a Thursday, it arrived before lunch the next day! And this is during lockdown! Two days later, I was riding it in the sunshine - thanks to amazing hubby. Took a bit of getting used to the 3 wheels, as I have only ridden bikes, but now I love, love, love it! It's absolutely brilliant, and I can't recommend it highly enough.It has been much admired in all the villages I have whizzed through, and I have already had two requests for Jorvik's website from envious neighbours, not to mention my youngest grandson, who is very smitten - and, no, he can't have it!
The friendly and helpful staff at Jorvik could not be faulted, and we send a special thank you to Gavin, who gave my husband help over the phone with some queries he had during the build. Nothing was too much trouble.
I am so glad I chose the electric version - first time I have ever got to the top of the hill first!! And yes Joe, it IS cheating, but I'm your granny!

"Underwhelmed by my e-trike"
Underwhelmed by my e-trike. It has been costly to assemble and still has problems that need to be sorted out.
I have a Skoda Yeti with a big 'boot' but for the life of me can't work out a way of folding the trike to get it in, despite help from a skilled bike mechanic who is totally baffled. First of all, the trike is very heavy, so not at all suitable for someone who is elderly or infirm to grapple with. And second, getting the trike to fold requires a lot of strength. The promotional video which shows how this should be done seems to involve some trickery. In the video, the trike folds and fits into the back of a small vehicle (looks like a Ford Ka) with seemingly no effort at all. In reality, it's very different. Prepare to struggle!
The ordering process is a bit strange too. Some photos show the red trike (which I ordered) with black baskets (front and back) and some with white, but there's no option to choose what you want. I got white, but wanted black. I contacted Jorvik to request an exchange, but their response was unhelpful. Apparently they don't have stocks of the black baskets and, in any case, seemed to misunderstand what I was talking about because they seemed to think I wanted a Dutch style basket, which I don't!
A general point about the trike (which is not a criticism of Jorvik necessarily) is that, speaking from experience, it is not suitable for someone who is disabled. Even a slight camber causes the bike to lurch sideways. The risk of toppling the bike over is high unless you re-balance very quickly. I have balance and mobility issues following a stroke and I find the trike quite challenging to ride except on a flat surface. It's OK for cycle paths, but not roads.
I think there are plenty of good points about the Jorvik e-trike. But paying top price definitely does not guarantee you get the best. My advice is to shop around and try before you buy, or prepare to be a bit disappointed.

"Fantastic product, brilliant service!"
What a fantastic product and such brilliant service! My Jorvik e-trike has been a real boon in these lockdown times as I can get exercise and do my local shopping - the basket at the back takes 2 big supermarket 'bags for life'. Heavy shopping like drinks, potatoes, flour, sugar etc. is no problem with the e feature to speed up hills. Even in normal times I would use it to replace some car journeys. I like that it takes up a little more width on the road - the few cars around at the moment give it extra room and don't try to 'slip' past. It has become a real feature in our village, and gets admiring glances and comments (at a social distance) whenever I go out. The cycle shop I entrusted with building my trike made a mess of it, but Jorvik arranged to get it back to them and fixed it for me! So willing to go the extra mile during this difficult time and give excellent service. So grateful!
