I purchased several Furi knives around 25 years ago. It could have been longer ago than that. Naturally, my receipt has long since disappeared. I have loved the 17cm East-West knife, since the day I bought it. Incredibly versatile, beautifully balanced and a delight to hold and use. Sadly, my East-West knife developed a small crack in the blade. I contacted customer service and posted a couple of photos. THREE DAYS later, a brand new East-West knife appeared in my PO Box. WOW! The new knife is superior to the old one. A more comfortable handle and the dimple things make cutting soft veges easier. Kudos to Furi customer service.

"The best knives I’ve ever owned"

I’ve had a set of five Furi knives for about 8 months now, and they are, quite simply, the best knives I’ve ever had. I bought their knife sharpener at the same time, and I sharpen them once a week, and that keeps them in great condition. I don’t put them in the dishwasher. They look good. I love how hygienic they are, as they’re made from one piece of steel.

These are beautiful knifes and are absolutely worth the investment. You could spend a lot more on other premium knives, but it would be hard to do better than Furi's. The elegant shapes, the versatile range, the reassuring weight and balance, the breath-taking sharpness... buy a block set to begin with... and then see if you can stop yourself from building it into an entire collection :-).

Great, as a winner of a cash amount I ordered what I needed (the magnetic knife block) and the other paring was out of stock, so I put through my order. I then noticed the item back in stock and on sale, and could have used my full cash amount, but was unable to.
It was great I won, but would of really loved to get the paring knife. I suppose I was just too keen !!
