"Very weak driving ethics "
The driver after warnings not to proceed down a one way street mccool st Caboolture after a delivery to Caboolture east state school he deliberately went down the street the wrong way and from what I could see of his licence tag it ended in jw7 with parcellink emblazoned on the side of the van

"Totally recommend this company"
Totally recommend this company. I have worked with them several times, and each time they respected their word and received great customer service and goods were delivered even faster than advised.

"Problems and solutions"
I've used ParcelLink for years and in almost all things they've been great. I'm leaving this review in regards to a particular instance. I paid for a booking but it didn't appear in my list of bookings on my account page. A check with the bank confirmed the payment had gone through. I emailed ParcelLink and within minutes they'd emailed me back having solved the problem. Dan E. was the person who dealt with this. Thanks Dan!

"Saved by Parcel Link"
I used Parcel Link regularly a few years ago but was tempted away by cheaper quotes elsewhere. Needless to say, you get what you pay for ! I was let down by another 'unnamed' carrier recently who didn't turn up for three days running causing me enormous embarrassment with my customer. I cancelled and fired up my old Parcel Link account. The driver was there mid-morning the next day and my very heavy carton was duly delivered to my customer early the following day. Thank you Parcel Link for saving the day

"Isobel at P2G is an absolute superstar"
Isobel at P2G is an absolute superstar
Booked my parcel and then printer broke down. Blind panic sent me through to their chat function and along came Isobel.
With no hassle or fuss she rebooked my parcel without the need for a printer at the same price and same date.
It was really that simple. Exactly what was needed. Isobel is a superstar and saved my bacon today

"Missed collection and no way to contact them"
This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
it's simply unecisten. I have been ringing their phone number 20 times a day because the collection was missed. They eventually replied a few days later on an email.
I had to ask the bank for a refund and hire a different courier. Shocking.
EDIT: 9 months after they edit the comment to say they do answer the phone and reply emails. No you don't, maybe you hired a receptionist now but I can prove I called you arond 20 times throughout the day. Editing replies all those months after is a low blow.

"Service is great, but information can be more transparent."
(TL;DR at the bottom)
Ordered a parcel delivery service from Parcel Link, booked for "International Express" which stated "No printer need for this service". Upon placing and paid for the service (Friday), I quickly received automated email regarding the invoice and some document, which turned up to be situation depends on what you're shipping.
But in my case of shipping personal belongings, these documents were unexpected and confusing.
On the day of parcel collection (Monday), I receive the documents/labels which I should actually be printing and attaching instead. That was a semi-panic to find a printer risking missing a collection.
Just to note that, Parcel Link and Pallet2Ship are under the same company "Tek Move Solutions Limited", which first confused me as Pallet2Ship contacted me instead.
Regarding parcel collection, they are not directly responsible. Rather, quoting from their T&C, "ParceLLink will arrange collection and delivery of the consignment(s) via a third party service, normally with a major reputable carrier, or in some instances with other carriers which ParceLLink finds as suitable."
But
"We cannot guarantee that these requests are followed as we offer a non-guaranteed service only with a collection and/or delivery at any time between 8am and 6pm."
"Please note that this time slot is not guaranteed. If the collection does not happen within the time slot allocated *it is the customers' responsibility* to inform parcel-link.co.uk via email of a failed collection."
Having read the terms and some of the negative reviews here on TrustPilot, I had some worries. I have exchanged emails with Gabriela from Pallet2Ship (instead of ParceL Link as mentioned above). She was patient and efficient to clarify my concerns, props to that. Unfortunately, that did not reverse the final result of a failed parcel collection.
I was lucky to have someone to store my parcels for collection on the other day. I rearranged for another parcel collection and they responded quickly. The driver called and came to collect it successfully at the end.
TL;DR:
Pros:
-Very competitive pricing
-Good customer services and fast response
Cons/To be improved:
-Tracking number is not updated on time
-Inaccurate service information (i.e. printer service is needed)
-A bit of trickery parcel collection situation, as no definite timeslot can be booked (only anytime 0800-1800)
-Parcel delivery may subject to availability which is not indicated on the website, e.g. short notice/next day or somewhat less available cities.
Verdict:
You could risk a parcel collection failure if you're ordering in remote area and/or with short notice; it is reasonable, since they have to work with 3rd party (local warehouse) for parcel collection. In that case you would be the one to notice Parcel Link for a rearrangement.
Otherwise, everything seems great, given their competitive pricing and nice customer service.
