As a MD i decided to arrange for a new fuel card to give the staff on the road more freedom and choice whilst saving a few extra pence.... so i ordered a full batch of FuelGenie+ cards so it also gave the advantage of shell fuel stations,
so far.... EVERY CARD ISSUED has been declined at multiple filling stations listed on the FuelGenie+ app. When we spoke to fuel genie it was apparently a terminal error... Funny that. As the same terminal accepted the fuel card from Fuelogic straight away with no issue. Ive also now had the hassle of settling employee expenses as they no longer wish the embarrassment of the cards been declined, Ive even had to ring up one station and pay over the phone as the engineer did not have the full amount of cash.
