For older pets their cover isn’t really worth anything, you are paying for nothing. Better to put some money aside for the big day.
Also, beware if you are paying monthly, you need to pay the full amount before settling a claim. It was much cheaper just to pay the vet.
Don’t bother.

Overall I have been happy with Healthy Pets Insurance, it covers our dog for up to 12months travelling abroad which other insurers do not do do. Over the last few years we have made 2 claims without any problems. I was disappointed with the renewal premium but taking out a new policy reduced the cost a lot , thankfully we did not have any pre existing conditions to consider.
