Easy and straightforward to apply for the insurance for our cats.

To make it clear I've had pet insurance on 3 pets (previously 4) for 10+ years now and I used to work in insurance so I'm not naïve. This policy pertains to my youngest dog who is 3 and is on Healthy Pets Lifetime Premier Policy (so their 'top of the range'). I have had to claim through Healthy Pets before and my complaint isn't pertaining to that however my shock was when they changed my terms upon renewal increasing my mandatory excess (rising vet bills so I'm picking that up). Oh and by the way upon renewal my policy is 40% more than I'd be paying like for like as a new customer, worth considering if like me you're in it for the long run.

Very helpful assistant. It’s just a shame that the automatic renewal was 4 x more than a new quote. I’ve not claimed since 2017 and that was a nominal claim, so little disappointing that as a customer I can’t just auto renew with the best possible quote. Stop chasing new customers and value the ones you already have !
