"AVOID THE COMPANY I would give NEGATIVE STARs if I could"

I would give lower if I could. Paid years into a high payment cover just to be denied in my dog's hour of need.
Save your money and put it in a separate bank account it is surprising how this will grow.
I have had the answer below which seems insincere and insensitive.
I have read the google reviews and now realised that this company only seems to be wanting to be paid and not to pay out.
I have now been paid £1000 for the medical treatment of my pet after I complained.

"Absolutely useless"

Absolutely useless.
Took my cat to the vets for sudden behaviour change, and put in a claim as had tests done for her to rule out health problems. Over a month after initial claim have now been told they won't pay out. And they don't usually insure pets with aggressive tendencies 'but will allow it on this occassion'. Disgusting, no point in using this company at all. Useless from start to finish.

"Make Sure To Read The Small Print."

My dog Maddie was insured with Healthy Pets, for 13 years and in that time all her premiums were paid up to date by what I would call a rollover every year, where I would just keep paying as I went along, in 2016 she had Anaemia requiring major treatment at the time healthy pets were great and all payments were paid out minus the normal deductions, this October unfortunately Maddie developed Kidney failure and we had to make the devastating decision to put her to sleep, by this time I would point out her monthly premiums were £87 normal for an older dog with pre-existing, as normal after claiming again healthy pets paid out, minus the normal deductions and a whopping £876,this I was told as Maddie’s policy had renewed in August the rest of the policy was outstanding, I contacted the friendly Laura at the customer service who said they would investigate this, after waiting 8 days the response really was this As you made a claim under the policy, irrespective of the reason why the policy’s cancelled, you still must pay the remainder of the policy premiums for that year, so I still have to pay for my dog until next august even thought she is not with us anymore, the e mail also said this would also be our last correspondence on the matter, make your own mind up, I have now moved my other dog to a company with a less heartless policy.
