I had to claim for a heart condition for my 18 month old cat. After i paid the vet direct healthy pets completed my claim and paid straight to my account. I recommend them and have just insurance my new kitten with them.

Do not use these!!!!
They will not cover the cost of your MRI so doesn’t matter how much your cover is for the amount they offer towards it wont cover 1/3 of the price, probably less. They won’t do a promise to pay to the vets so your pet can have the procedure it needs, so you will have no choice but to put them to sleep, it says they cover putting your pet to sleep, but turns out not everything. I’m months in and still not been paid, oh sorry £61 so far out of nearly £1200 of a claim, they process it bit by bit and will try to get out of £100 here and £100 there, so you are left not having a clue what is and isn’t covered!! If it’s not bad enough being heartbroken after loosing a pet they make it so hard I’m not actually sure where I’m up to and neither do the call handlers. So I repeat DO NOT USE THESE.

I've been with Healthy Pet Insurance for a few years now. I put my trust in this company.
Sadly, I had to put my cat to sleep. It was unexpected. I had to pay 20% of the bill because she was older than six. I thought it was 20% of the excess. I agree that this was probably an oversight on my behalf, but today they are now telling me I have to pay for the remainder of the policy, even though my cat has passed.
When you pet passes, Healthy Pet Insurance will continue to charge you for the full year's policy. Do not insure with this company. So sad and dissapointed.

Really well looked after by this company. It's just horrific when one of my pets are so poorly that I need to take her to vet and even consider making a claim. I am so grateful for how much this company has looked after us.
I feel like the staff are really friendly and actually care too. Wouldn't even consider going anywhere else!
