Well three months still not sorted tried to take 15% off my claim saying now my dog is 5 years old ( there mistake so waiting for that to be resolved as it shouldn’t of started until the renewal )
Not aware until today that it will be 20% next year and so on ( so be aware the pet ages the premium goes further up and they won’t pay full amount amount.
I am poorly I don’t work but I make sure I pay my pet insurance for my animals even though I’d get help from PDSA I want ny animals to have the best care and not put further pressure on charity
However I won’t be able to afford to pay 15 percent then 20 percent on top of access
They are leaving me no option but to leave my dog is only 5 years old put her insurance up from £28 to now nearly 40 a month and I have to pay 15 percent for each claim 20 percent next year.
Pdsa struggling and then big insurance company’s doing this to not help people pay for there pets.
Understand when a pet gets old but 5 years old I’m stuck in a corner I’m scared to go with another company incase anything happens again that would not be covered can’t afford to pay.
So poor pdsa will have to pick up the pieces
I don’t find it anywhere on my insurance policy’s that this percentage would be added if I’d not of took it out

Easy to arrange cover, would have given 5* but couldn't get through on phone to speak with anyone, and took 3 goes to arrange cover on website.
Have a policy already, this one for new puppy, had claims settled without complications on policies in past - would recommend them too

Insured my cat Zorro just as 1st lockdown started, March 2020 he came from a rescue centre. I was told he has has cat flu when he was brought into the centre but had a clean bill of health. After a while one of his eyes was running. We could not see the vet so I held the young cat up to the camera and she sent some drops. He had his health check up at the Christmas then the following year he got runny eyes again once again in lock down. So they sent some more drops this happened a third time March 2022 this time I could take him in I paid the lab tests and they came back that he has Chlamydia a bacterial infection. I put in a claim as the tests and the treatment cost over £300. They refused to pay out as they said that the previous eye infections I had not declared even though these were not properly diagnosed due to Covid, and originally stemmed from a viral infection prior to me getting the cat from the rescue. After my vet sending alot of correspondence they have refused to pay
