"Impossible to spend your money…,,"
I really don’t know how to put this politely but the service provided by the Dacia sales team is non existent. Went today to test drive a Sandero Stepway automatic and was going to place an order. Went last Thursday and spoke with the Manager Gary (to be honest he was a little vague on specs and prices but kept going away to check) who told us about the great deal that was ending today, so arranged a test drive for today. On arrival no one knew we were going and were finally greeted by Larry where we explained why we were there, he then informed us that the car I wanted to test drive was out on service loan, Gary was nowhere in sight in fact he was off today! Asked about getting one from the compound (Gary had assured us last week there were loads). Was told that it had 500 in and they would need to check each one and only 3 Stepways and the chance of one being Automatic was pretty much nil! (Computers we’re down) I mentioned the offer ending today and Larry suggested that a place the order on the proviso of cancellation if I didn’t like the car after a test drive - of course I declined. Walked away in disgust…. Wasted day of a/l.

"Sales staff good but after care none existent "
I purchased a Vauxhall Corsa reg DU21 XWL on the 17/0724 from your Mansfield dealership. I’ve already had quite a few issues with the car and I’ve only just had it for a week. First there was an issue with the break pedal which should have been sorted before I picked the car up but wasn’t and as a result I’m still waiting for a part coming through the post. The second issue is the breaks are incredibly squeaky and make a noise with the slightest pressure applied and I’ve just noticed when I went into the back for the first time the back seat bench isn’t attached properly as the clips are snapped. I would like to point out that none of my issue are with the sales person I dealt with Martin who was a pleasure to deal with.
But with already having so many issues with the car in such a short period of time i'm very unhappy with it and considering just giving it back and getting my money back. The most frustrating thing is all of these issues could have easily been resolved before i collected the car but it seems it didn't have its final checks because if it did how could all of these been missed? It seemed the car wasn't even ready for me to pick up and didn't have its front number plate on. Because it was a rush job they didn't even put screw caps on and left the screws exposed. Admittedly this is a small issue but when added in with everything else it starts to add up
After washing the car it became apparent that it had been badly touched up to hide any imperfections. This of course came straight off and the bonnet is covered in stone chips. The passenger side of the car is also covered in scratches

Bought a car £10,500 from Pentagon lincoln in january 6 weeks later windscreen wipers would not turn off after numerous phone calls they had it back ,they had it for 16 weeks we constantly had to chase up what was happening and the customer service is shocking they are so rude no compassion or understanding we felt a nuisance we emailed head office in derby and never had a reply from them either we finally got it back After 16 weeks 4 days later it flashed up engine fault and emissions failure we managed to get a refund we want nothing more to do with them the whole process was a pain we understand with used cars things can go wrong but how they deal with it is terrible just a bit of pleasant customer service would go a long way ...AVOID at all costs

"Shocking Service "
Waited a month to get a basically new car into to service for a bad rattle in the dash and the car drifting when the steering wheel was in a straight position.
Pentagon had the car all day and failed to resolve any of the issues raised ?? , to compound i had to chase to find out the status of the car just before 5pm and to top of the car was covered in oily finger prints on collection ..
Back street garage mentality and level of service, no wonder the reviews are so poor.
Much like the Peugeot brand , avoid save yourself the grief.
Wish I had.
The response below is a joke , they don't respond to your complaint, I tried .
They didn't receive 3.6 overall score for nothing.

"Poor customer aftercare"
The salesperson was very good whilst I was purchasing the car, however, I have had a number of issues with the vehicle since buying it one month ago; the main issue being the engine light coming on one week after I bought the car and the lack of response from Pentagon. I have made numerous calls to both Pentagon Mansfield and Pentagon Customer Care, and I made a complaint two weeks ago, to which I have received no response, despite chasing it up. I have been promised a phone call from both Pentagon Mansfield and from their General Dealership Manager, however, no one has contacted me. Failing to carry out thorough checks on a vehicle before sale (there was a broken valve on one tyre, resulting in it going flat a few days after I bought it), then fobbing people off, dragging things out, ignoring people and failing to respond to complaints is hardly good customer service.

"Just bought a second hand MG4 EV from…"
Just bought a second hand MG4 EV from Pentagon BYD at Lincoln, so the car is not one of their models. Ian Bishop salesman was extremely helpful in answering our questions about the big step for us to go all electric with its very new technology. However after a while we found we couldn’t bind our mobile to it. I googled the problem and found this is a common problem with MG EVs. The experiences of others was that MG were very unhelpful. So as Ian had said “if you have a problem just contact me “ , so I did! He tried MG and got the same kind of unhelpful response. He then contacted the previous owner to ask if he could unbind his phone, which he did. Problem solved in less than 24 hours. Kindness and helpfulness over and above. Thanks Ian
