"Absolutely atrocious - can't access funds. Customer service ridiculous"

Absolutely atrocious systems, verification, security, etc. I've tried activating my card all day and still no luck. Extremely rude and impatient customer service on the phone. Still don't have access to the funds on the card. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely atrocious. Can't log in, can't create a new account, can't activate the card and no response whatsoever to emails. Help page is completely useless. Never, EVER use this company for gift cards.

"I have been trying to contact Perx…"

I have been trying to contact Perx Support since April 7th to get access to a card with EUR500 on it. When I tried to register it, the card is showing as already registered. I have therefore been unable to activate or use the card.

I tried calling their number 012557111 easily 100 times over the last 2 months, and every time, when you press 1 for support, it just brings you back to the main menu and ends up in an infinite loop.

I have send numerous follow-up emails to no avail.

I emailed them on 07/04, 10/04, 11/04, 12/04, 18/04
I finally got a response on 25/04 asking for details of the card which I had already provided, but to respond to their query, I provided it again on 26/04.

Again no further response until 01/06 - and their response was to inform me that the card has since been registered and that no further action was required. I have replied to that saying that I have not registered it, and I still cannot activate the card. No response as yet 6 days later.

This has been an awful experience - this company is almost impossible to make contact with.

I see from other posts here that occasionally PERX reply to these messages. I would appreciate a DM to engage with me on this, as I have EUR500 sitting in the balance that I cannot access.

"Can’t spend the money, can’t get help"

I’ve received three of these cards.

The first card required a phone call to activate. The webpage to check balances and register cards then changed making the process all the more complicated.

The second card (although already registered and activated and 3D secured) won’t let me make payments, it’s disappeared from my card section so I can’t even view it. I have racked up phone bills over £20 trying to talk to the support team already. I have emailed only to get an automated response and no follow up help. This issue is still ongoing, I don’t know what else to do. They are withholding the balance on this card. Seems like a scam.

The third card will only let me see the past three transactions so I can’t keep track of where the money is being spent or any refunds.

I can’t get through to anyone for help unless I phone but the charges for calling the number are huge. It’s not worth the hassle.

"Appalling"

Appalling. Received a few of these in the last year as gifts etc.. I've always had problems without fail and the customer service is next to useless to the point that 2 different agents will actually contradict each other in their endeavours to make the situation worse.

"This card is terrible "

This card is terrible. I had at least 60 euro left in my card and when I went to check the balance it was at €0! I didn't spend the money and it was tucked away in my room!!! It's not like I didn't use it for so long that the ridiculous "service charge fee" would drain it. DO NOT ORDER THESE, DO NOT GET THEM FOR COMPANY CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS. I would have rathered a slap in the face because at least that follows through.

"Atrocious customer service"

Far too many problems trying to use the card. Logins don't work, accounts don't work, constant error messages. Customer service atrocious. Was kept on hold for a very long time, only to end up with a very unhelpful person who tutted, sighed and talked over me as he couldn't seem to manage outside of his scripted lines. I don't know what he is doing on a customer service line.

"Refreshingly fantastic service"

I can honestly say I thought I was having the same problem as a lot of people I have seen leaving reviews here. I was getting frustrated by not being able to check my balance online on the perx system and noticed there was updated security measures. Admittedly I am a bit older than most but I usually have no issues with websites and was getting very frustrated. This was due to the security features that I see a lot of people are having issues with too. HOWEVER, my story seems to have a positive end and for that I wanted to say something. I phoned customer service and had fantastic service by a lady called Ellie. She advised me fully on the new system, helped me get back into my account in only a few steps that took only minutes and I was able to check my balance and transactions too. She went on further to assist ensuring my card was fully set up to use for all purchase types. She was knowledgeable throughout the whole process and so professional & patient with me. She sounded genuinely interested and happy to help and not robotic like you find with a lot of services these days. It's so easy to forget to leave good reviews and only mention the bad so I felt like sharing this today. Fantastic service Ellie, thank you for all your help
