"pros and cons - Good for many things, flawed for data and specifics"
As someone who has sold on eBay for almost 15 years, I have now used Worthpoint for about a year. Will list pro's and con's
Pro's - 1) images. Most items can be found by looking. I have a lot of items that I cant find comps for and the visual side really helps. 2) Data - there is more data - I dont remember the number of years they have but it is many more than eBay. Again for unique things, this is invaluable. 3) Ability to sort - this is kind of pro and con as you can sort but not with as many options as ebay closed items
Con's (note this is based on selling on eBay - NOT other platforms) -
1) the categories to me are not "natural" ie not what I think of when I want to search. This is especially critical in the CSA ie clothing and accessory category. It is called "textiles, clothing and accessories". So includes things like rugs, fabric, and quilts. The CSA need to be split out. 2) geared more toward "collectibles" than other. As with #2, this is geared more toward in my opinion antique and vintage hard goods collectors vs clothing and purse sellers. This may or may not be good based on your business 3) Sort is by only best match, price (high low) and sale date. Because some categories pull in data that is not applicable, these sorts can pull in too much data. Need some additional data fields to sort by 4) Visual vs data driven - I used to use Terapeak and I know that my observation was that they were much more data driven - ie you could pull what times were best for relisting. At the moment I cant afford both so for ME I like the visual for my current needs. But if you have a huge volume you really need more hard data and stats like percents sold, etc.
Bottom line is its a good tool if you know the pros and cons and it works for what you sell

"Worth it if you use it."
I did have a difficult time signing up initially, but that problem was rectified personally by Will Seiple, whom I was fortunate to meet at an event in NY last October. Since then, no issues at all. My problem is that I probably don't use it enough, but that is on me. If there is any critique I could give, it is that sometimes, the first few items are an exact match for your search, but then a bunch of seemingly unrelated items are also included in the results. In summary, I think it's an excellent resource because it goes back eight years. vut you have to use it enough to make it worth the subscription price.

"Excellent tool to find, the hard to find and the easy to find."
I am new to the everyday eBay world of selling, when I need that extra help I can rely on Worthpoint to help me out. The site has not failed me yet so a five star rating is truly deserved. Thanks Worthpoint you also save me time in research.

"Another Great Tool for Your Online Business"
As a small-time, part-time seller on eBay, I wasn't sure I needed to spend hard-earned $$$ for this service. On the advice of other successful online sellers I took the plunge and was honestly surprised at the value I received for the money invested. Ebay research can only get you so far. If your item is in season and modern, you can probably find it with ease. If you're looking for sold prices for Christmas items in April: not so much. Or vintage muumuus from a now defunct Hawaiian company: ditto. Enter Worthpoint. Information goes back years, not months. Which also broadens your chance of finding that rare oddball item and often gives me additional keywords I had never thought of using. What might have taken me hours to research, now took minutes. Does it work every time? No, but it does pay for itself every month many times over. Bottom line: a great value for the money, even for a small business owner. Highly recommended!

"BEWARE This is a SCAM"
I started a 7 day free trial. They said I could look up 7 items. I looked up 3 with different variations. Then I was charged 19.99 I stopped use of this sight. I called them Monday AM 7-20-15. When they told me they were not authorized to issue a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me he would give me a call back. I waited till Wed am 7-22-15 called She said manager will call me back. Now I see they canceled my subscription on the 22nd after our phone call. I called this morning 7-23-15 asking who canceled my subscription she ( Anita ) said she did she said you stated You did not want the service you wanted a refund so I canceled your subscription . I asked am I getting a refund her reply was " NO Mam " She took me around in circles. I am completely dissatisfied with there customer service and the searches I did do were very outdated. there is more sold listings on ebay than there sight it. I have been researching prices for 10 years now this is by far the worst research sight I have ever been on. I read the agreement and it states look up 7 items. I only looked up 3. After 3 days they canceled my subscription with out my consent and with out a refund.

"couldn't get my billing right"
I signed up with a discount for 12 months. For the first three months my billing was wrong. Good news is when I called to cancel the couldn't have cared less. Didn't even ask why. Never again

"A great tool for the serious online seller"
I had heard the service discussed over the last few years but had a bit of trepidation in joining. If I'm honest that was all down to me thinking that I was smarter than the service. Several months ago I ended up with an old wall clock and had zero luck finding any record of it being sold or establishing a value so I decided to give Worthpoint's free trial a shot. Within minutes I had the information that I was seeking and on the resulting sale was able to maximize my profit at least $200 more than I would have had I not had access to the information provided by Worthpoint. I started using it on a regular basis and was able to determine VERY quickly that the return heavily outweighed the minimal monthly investment

"Great company, great service...."
We have been using the service for several years and it is a great help for our eBay and Amazon business. Product identification, pricing and description keyword help provide great data for our business. Also, of great value is the history they maintain long after the eBay data has been deleted. The owner of WP attends many of the eCommerce industry gatherings and listens to users input for many of the new features that have been rolled out the last two years. WorthPoint is the best.... Bill

"Excellent service. Well worth the money."
I've been a Worthpoint subscriber for a few years and have to say I'm quite happy with the service. I like the fact that they can pull information on hard-to-find items going back several years. When I signed up I had a little glitch and their customer service was on it and resolved it almost immediately.
