"I would like to give a minus star."

I would like to give a minus star.
I paid R999 on 8th January for full service & am still not connected on 20th March.
The unit was only sent after 6 weeks
I phone daily and they say 24 hours but nothing ever happens.

"Useless"

Unfortunately you have to click a star to start the review process. Otherwise I would have not even given them a single one.

No wifi for past 3 days. Call centre states 24 - 48 hour turn around.
Phoned 5 times.
A. Can't hear a word any of the "superstars" say so maybe I was talking to the man on the moon.
B. Still waiting for feedback on my case reference.
C. 48 hours expired 10:00 this morning, no wifi, no feedback, no calls as promised.

No, tomorrow is 09/03/2021. They won't see another debit order. I'm no longer a customer.

Should have know something was up when Nepic sold out to MTN

"Worst service I have EVER experienced"

I browsed Supersonic's website to check which Fibre package seemed best. Next thing I know my order has been placed. I phoned their call centre, spoke to an agent and when the call cut out, was unable to get any help. Their email is an "unattended email", the WhatsApp consultant (Precious) was non-responsive and of no help whatsoever. In fact she ignored me completely. I have been trying to cancel my order for over an hour to no avail. Fortunately I did not give them my banking details. Avoid Supersonic like the plague. They are worse than Telkom! I am utterly disgusted and I am not even a client yet, nor do I intend to ever be. I will make it my life's mission to deter as many people as I can from this pathetic company. They should be ashamed.

"I received my router in November 2020…"

I received my router in November 2020 without a simcard, called the call centre to inform them about this. I received a simcard after 2 days. Then at the end of Nov 2020 i was told i had to pay R780 for a pro-rata amount ... which i did... then again on the 24th of December i paid R400 to cover for January. That same week i was told the sim i am using is an incorrect one, then issued with another one... On the 31st of December Supersonic deducted an amount of R1590 from my account and they cannot explain what that amount is for. I was told to submit proof and i have....i was told that they acknowledge their mistake and that they will refund me on friday .... this is my 3rd week waiting and no one is getting back to me. Again on the 1st of Feb i was double charged...i paid R800 instead of R400..... i have called to inform them about this but i am still not getting assistance. This by far has been the worst service provider , no one is accountable. Mistakes happen and get resolved... but not SUPERSONIC. Service is pathetic!!!!

"Supersonic Cancellation Nightmare"

On 17 Dec 2020 I emailed the supersonic cancellations department as instructed by their support staff, for a end of Jan 2021 cancellation, seeing a full calendar months’ notice is required. I received an automated reply saying "We have received your cancellation request and one of our agents will be in contact with you during the cancellation process to finalize your request."

On the 11 Jan 2021 I had not been contacted yet, so I followed up with an email and got another automated reply.

We followed up with numerous calls to their Cancellations number: 0861 787 377, with each and every person saying they would sort things out and give us a call back. No-one ever did.

We then received our bill for the month of Jan, which we paid, and I sent another email saying, "Please find the proof of payment for the final settlement amount attached. Please go ahead and release the line".

On the 28 Jan 2021 we received an email saying "This email serves as confirmation that your supersonic account - will be deactivated on the 2021/01/31. Please note, as per our terms and conditions, the month of January serves as your one calendar month notice period".

We thought everything was back on track, however the following day we received another email saying "We have sent case to billing team to invoice you for clawback once clawback paid line can be released".

This is where the real battle started...

They have a 24 month clawback policy. However we have been with them for 31 months. The issue is we had the installation done at house 1 and after 11 months we moved to house 2 (20 months). Because we stayed with Supersonic through the move and there was no second installation at the new house (fibre already installed), they said we would just continue on our existing contract.

Now, the cancellations department could only find our latest move of 20 months, so they said we owed them money. Then after explaining everything, they found the original details and said they would sort it out for us and release the line.

But guess what, now they are saying we left the first house too soon, so we owe them!

Seriously I have never experienced this level of incompetence when dealing with a fairly large company.

Do you think we have received good service?
Do you think we would ever recommend you to anyone else?
Do you think we will ever deal with you or MTN again?

We have been with you for 31 months, release our line please!

"Stay away from this bunch"

Stay away from this bunch. There is something very fishy going on here.

I called them again today, for the 3rd time. On both previous occasions they promised they would call me that day to sort things out...never did.

I paid my deposit and received confirmation of receipt of payment on 15 December 2020. It is now 14 Jan and still no router.

Today the woman on the line said I need to send proof of payment. She then sent me an email, but it was from a "Do not reply" address. She did not give any details of where or how I send proof of payment. My reply email bounced back.

These guys appear to be running a pyramid scheme. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

"Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I completely hate this supplier its be far the worst I don't advice anyyyyoneeeee to take this supplier pleaaaassseee its going to be your worst mistake I paid for installation 23rd November 2020 and its the 23rd December today and stilllll nothinngggggg imagine!!!! Everyone they say they will get back to me but nothing!!!!!

"Supersonic and Vumatel Pathetic customer service"

I moved into a new premises on 31 October, I have tried since then to install a fibre connection. But the ISP I am trying to have a line installed with cannot do so if Supersonic does not release the line. Supersonic is preventing me from this service. The Old tenants that use to stay at the premises has cancelled with them. So I don't understand how difficult this can be. However, I have dealt with Mandisa Msomi from Supersonic (MTN SA CCI SA UMHLANGA PTY LTD) directly, we have sent all paperwork to her, showing that we are the new tenants and she insured my husband that she will sort out that the line gets released immediately, last week we tried finding out how long this process will take, no feedback via email correspondence as before, when we call and ask to speak to her, we are being placed on hold for more than 45 mins at a time. This is unprofessional from both a so called supervisor and Supersonic itself. I am disgusted by the way they treat people. Not to mention Vumatel. How hard can it be to re - install a connection. Does these companies not want to have more clients? Both of these companies have wasted my time for weeks on hand. And I am not impressed at all. I will continue to spread this review until I am being contacted by someone in a higher position from either companies to resolve this issues.

P.S.... Anybody with similar experiences, and had it resolved, please do feel free to contact me.
