"Lying about delivery. Item never arrived"

I ordered from Thompson and Morgan in march and have been waiting for the dispatch date in may. When I checked the track item box it said parcel refused due to damaged parcel. I did not even have a delivery attempt, it's plain lies. I've set an investigation in motion with T and M to find out where my parcel is. I AM NOT HAPPY.

"Ordered some plants from Amazon"

Ordered some plants from Amazon, they were despatched on Monday 13th May via Whistl. Having read comments on here that Whistl pass the goods onto Hermes, I decided to go to Hermes site and use the tracking number. Sure enough Hermes now have the plants, 2 days after despatch. However, I'm happy with that because where I live Hermes is very good. We have the same courier every time and he often delivers goods to me. So 3 stars because Whistl passed the goods to Hermes, but losing 2 stars for taking 2 days to pass the goods to Hermes. I'm expecting Hermes to deliver tomorrow, hopefully the plants will still be in good condition.

"Whisl as far as I can establish is just…"

Whisl as far as I can establish is just an additional middle man between the vendor and the actual courier which means the tracking information is poor and frequently wrong and the service is slower you also do not know which courier company will handle the actual delivery. All in all it is not very satisfactory. Technically your redress is with whoever sold you the item as they contract the delivery item. Even that gets complicated as the Vendor has a contract with Whistl who in turn have a contract with the actual courier. It makes it very difficult to get an issues resolved

"Appalling!!"

Email with tracking information received Tuesday morning. Link didn't work. Website stated item received 07/056/2018 at 0236. Returned home Thursday afternoon. Item on doorstop. Some was home but item just left.

I have been very much frustrated and disappointed with this kind of service. They really need to work on their infrastructure and management among couriers. Never wish to use again.

"7+ DAYS AND STILL NO SIGN OF MY DELIVERY"

Placed an order with Gtech on the 10th April. It's now the 19th April and only shows in transit. Hopefully Gtech will stop using this service place an order worth over £400 pounds and they send it with this snail pace delivery service. Gtech say it will be coming with Royal Mail. Why are they using Whistl is beyond me. I ordered on the 10th April known that the 19th is Good Friday and was expecting my parcel well before the 19th April and now with it been a bank holiday i will be very surprised if it turns up before Tuesday 23rd April. Will update on my poor experience with this incompetent company. "" As said i would update on my experience "" Well having waited 2 weeks for my order it arrived. only one good thing it turned up. The order arrived on the 24th April. Royal Mail did there job but Whistl was so slow. Here is my tracking number "L1136211000007833001" and you will see how bad the delivery times are. This maybe so that Gtech can save a few pence on delivery.

"Absolutely useless bunch of couriers"

Absolutely useless bunch of couriers. From date of receipt of the parcel to an out for delivery message was 11 days but still didn’t arrive. As per other comments, they are a bunch of liars and a complete waste of space.

"Driver in need of Highway Code"

Waiting at on an exit at a roundabout on Hessle Road Hull and saw a Whistl lorry use the inside lane to turn right near Asda. The poor car driver in the correct outside lane had to stop on the roundabout to avoid a collision. The Whistl driver had the cheek to hold both hand in the air in a gesture of frustration at the car drivers actions. The car driver was completely in the correct lane and took completely the right action.

"Received a parcel today"

Received a parcel today, the parcel had "Fragile Handle With Care" plastered all over it in large red letters. Despite this, the parcel had been crushed and the contents damaged.

I get that accidents happen and that sometimes, even with the best preparation, things can go wrong. But as a customer, I would at least have expected a note giving me contact options or even an apology.

I called them and was basically just fobbed off. Whistl clearly don't care about their customers. Shocking service. I will be recommending that people avoid this company.
