Had 36 hours with Aurel. The most clear and helpful and instructor I could’ve asked for! Passed with 2 minors in watford. Aurel is so patient and helpful! Thank you :)

"Robbed me of my money"

Completely poor service, they will never call you or contact you unless you reach out, they’ll never check in and see how your course is going. Honestly just took my money paired me up with a driving instructor who they under paid and then have left us to it ever since. I’ve always had to make the first move to contact them except for when they changed my test date then called me and told me off for changing it when I hadn’t touched it. I also then called for advice after and the service agent was terribly aggressive telling me I didn’t have a clue what I was on about when I was asking simple questions. I would never ever recommend this company stay clear. Robbed me.

Do not touch this company!

If I could score a zero I would.

I paid a deposit in May 2023 so when my son turned 17 in August he could be booked straight in for a course ready to pass before he needed to drive to work in September. After paying the deposit I was notified that instructors are not found until after the Theory test is passed. I booked my son's theory test for his birthday and then notified them as soon as he passed. I was then told the estimated time to secure an instructor is 4 weeks. Which came and went. After a few months of no contact (only replying when I chased) I was told I had to wait 18 weeks from when my son passed his theory before I could apply for a refund. (Be careful I have noticed they have now changed their terms and conditions to say no refunds!) By this point I had managed to secure an instructor myself so my son could finally start lessons. Once the 18 weeks had passed I completed the appropriate forms to apply for my deposit to be refunded. I was told I had to wait 10 working days for a response from accounts. After about 12 working days I received a response to say my refund would be processed by the 14th February 2024. Guess what I still haven't received a refund, despite chasing and haven't had a single response. Fortunately I made the original payment via Mastercard and so I am currently using them to claim the deposit back.

In summary this company seems to be a complete scam even criminal, with no intention of actually finding instructors, communicating with you or refunding your money. I can't believe they are still able to operate.

"I first of all signed up with them in…"

I first of all signed up with them in April 2023 and paid over 1800 pound. The first driving instructor I had was always late or would text me on the day and tell me he had to cancel. I then had to wait over 2 months for them to get me another driving instructor and thankfully he was brilliant. I passed my test after being with them for 10 months. However I had to message them on a weekly basis as they didn’t seem to care. I also asked them to book my test in for me as my theory was going to run out and in the end I booked it myself. Find a local instructor and don’t waste your money.

"An absolute must for the Yanks"

I might say that Wayne, my instructor, did a marvelous job preparing this retired American for the British road system. After driving over 50 years in the USA my habits needed changed and modified to adapt to the UK. Dealing with narrow congested roads, driving on the left side, sitting in the wrong seat lol, and dealing with all of the roundabouts can be a bit harrowing. Wayne was brilliant in being patient, offering advice as I navigated my way through the initial chaos. He would take me to the areas that were popular with testing to get me familiarised with the roads themselves. Come test day, I had the knowledge and calm nerves to handle the test. I passed with my first attempt,,,even given the "toughest" test instructor. I absolutely couldn't have passed without this course. And a huge shout-out to Wayne. Thank you!!!

"Passed With John. "

John was amazing. Helped me feel confident in driving and eased my nerves. Had easy techniques to help with parking and manoeuvres which helped massively.
Would highly recommend him.

My name is Andrew wedding , I Booked a course in October of 2023, hears nothing for 1 months so requested a refund , it is now February 2024 and my emails for the refund are being ignored and when I call I am told I will here in a couple days , a never ending cycle of disappointment , I will update here in the status of the refund but so far a terrible experience with @myintensivecourse.com

"Find a local instructor"

Scam of a company - offering “crash courses”. This is an out of date term in the industry, but apparently their in house instructor believes it’s still an up to date term.

Also they don’t have a team of instructors on standby. They phish the gov.uk website for instructors in your local area, and offer us a fraction of what you are paying them.

Don’t waste your time. Contact a local driving school or instructor. You’ll save yourself money.

I had a great experience, had my lessons with Valentina and passed my test first time within 3 weeks. I booked around Christmas time and had my lessons and test in February. Valentina was extremely helpful.

"Scam"

Scam. I paid nearly £400 in 2022, receive no lessons. Reached out to them multiple times to chase them up and was told I was top of the list and I would hear within a few weeks. After months of emailing about a refund I finally received a reply in January agreeing to send me a full refund and that it would be sent by 25th February (a month later). That date has been and gone and no refund. I reached out again and have been ignored. Luckily, as I have an email from them explicitly stating that I would be refunded the full amount I am going to take up the matter with the ombudsman and then to court. I am also reporting them, so that hopefully nobody else will be scammed. Awful company, do not waste your money.
