"Wish I have read these reviews earlier"

Wish I have read these reviews earlier. Bough as they advertised Super durable (will last for decades) floor/chair protector Matt. It completely broke after a week of use lol. Their company has 0 customer service, ignored my requests, offered me 16% discount to buy another Matt instead of refund.

Had to go to PayPal to PayPal hoping they will issue chargeback. Super bad quality products

This is a follow-up review to my post below. At the time I wrote the previous review on the 15th January 2021, the 2nd mat that my wife had was still intact. Well it is now 3 weeks later and her mat has cracked like mine and continues to deteriorate.

BE WARNED! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish I read these reviews before buying!! I bought 2 floor mats that have just completely fallen apart in less than 1 month.

I have reached out the customer services who offered me a small discount on future orders. This is not acceptable as I spent £70 on two mats which are now in several pieces and will need to be replaced.

Make sure you never order from FloorMatsUK.co.uk as they are stealing peoples money.

"This is a fraudulent set up"

This is a fraudulent set up. Avoid at all costs. I paid over £100 for a matt that is yet to appear. I'm hoping that Paypal or my credit card company will be able to insure me against this payment. How sad that companies like this exist. Google search should not be endorsing this company.

"The chair mat cracked after 2 weeks of…"

The chair mat cracked after 2 weeks of use and rapidly cracked more and more until it broke into pieces. The response of the company was that they would not issue a refund unless it was returned to them in Germany for 'material tests' I pointed out that under UK law this is not required unless they pay for the return shipment, but they refused to pay for the transport or refund for the faulty goods. This product is rubbish and you should avoid this company

"AVOID PLEASE - TERRIBLE COMPANY"

AVOID - DO NOT ORDER. SAME ISSUE, CRACKED IN 1 MONTHS NORMAL USE. ASKED ME TO RETURN PRODUCT TO GERMANY, NO REFUND OFFER BUT OFFERED A DISCOUNT TO BUY A REPLACEMENT. WHAT!!!!! SCAM ME ONCE THEN TRY TO DO IT AGAIN.

"No idea how this company is even still…"

No idea how this company is even still trading at all. This is day light robbery. Same issues here really. Bought a carpet mat and it's cracked everywhere. Asked for a refund and was offered a 16% refund. Turned it down and they asked me to return it to a address in Germany. They stopped responding to me now. Reported to trading standards.

"Update, Fraudsters, Crime Ref, Under Investigation."

Update on Previous Review.

Sadly Like Hundreds of others I ordered from this Company and did NOT receive my goods.

Sadly for this scam company I am Barrister with at the moment too much time on my hands!!

So this is what I have done to date and would suggest others do the same.

Report to trading standards complaints to them are now being handled via the Citizens Advise Consumer Service (see website) they can also be contacted on 03454 040506

What is very interesting is the German Police in Mannheim Germany are keen to receive information regarding this company.

The German Police also have a site where you can leave information (anon) regarding crime and indeed economic crime such as taking payment for goods or services from Customers and failing to supply such.

There is a German Consumer Association, I am yet to contact them.

Interestingly the the address in London at 54 -58 Tanner Street London SE1 3PH is NOT occupied by Floormats.co.uk or Dayton Home and Office.

I would suggest complaints are made to Banks and Credit Card issuers etc with a view to chargebacks.

Clearly this is a disgraceful company/individual/organization in which the appropriate legal action should be pursued.

The Individual Kutay Kazbek whom has responded on occasions to some complaints to users of Trust-Pilot Appears on Linkd-in.
I have included his details in my communication to the above organizations.

I hope this helps and that action will soon be taken to avoid others being duped.

"It's a common problem - avoid this company.."

I cannot believe the number of similar complaints raised against this company - I now wish I'd gone to Trustpilot first.
I bought an office chair bamboo protector for carpets
costing £59.90 just before Christmas. It arrived but in less than a week part of the bamboo splintered. I followed the returns procedure and at first Kutay was quite helpful. I returned photographs of the problem and was offered a partial refund if I kept the mat, but I was concerned it was going to get worse so asked for a full refund. I was then told to return the item to Germany postage being my responsibility. I refused to pay the postage quoting the "Consumer Rights Act 2015 that makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose". It also states that any returns policy which says I have to cover the cost of returning items must only relate to the situation where I change my mind about the item ordered and not where there is a problem with the item. The consumer should not lose out financially as a result of a breach of contract and accordingly all costs of returning the item should be met by the supplier.....
They have now gone 'underground' failing to respond to my recent messages.
I will be taking this up with my credit card company and Which.
Very Disappointing.... avoid at all costs..
