"Absolutely furious"
Absolutely furious, ordered a shop to be delivered which failed to come after phoning customer service twice. Said no drivers available yet delivery slots were available! Plus refund takes up to 5 days to return. Shocking service. Deliveries should not be available if drivers aren’t able to bring shopping to home. Plus was told co op don’t compensate for issues like this unlike bigger stores. Disgusted!

"Had to shop at CO-OP"
Had to shop at CO-OP, Chaddlewood, Plymouth…Never again! The female staff thought it was hilarious with customers who were waiting for the food to be discounted. Instead of marking down all the items at once which has always been the case, they would reduce 2-3 items then scuttle into the back office and laugh at the customers trying to get something…most of the customers waiting were elderly…Somehow I don’t think this is at all amusing. These elderly customer probably have no option but to get their groceries in the Co-op and obviously can only afford discounted food. Sadly, the “show respect to the elderly” phrase is now part of History…to top it off, the I’ll mannered female at the till all but accused me of putting cheaper price stickers on some chicken I got (discounted). She even got the manager as she didn’t believe the price. Obviously She was wrong but the arrogant fussy cash/till girl ensured that all and sundry be made aware that I’m a price/sticker criminal. Very Bad mannered, no please/Thankyou, laughing with someone on her phone whilst begrudgingly serving me…All of these staff should be re-trained, taught some manners or publicly Fired…..I used to like shopping in this Co/op but the attitude the staff have towards customers is comparable to a prison guard towards the prisoners….like throwing bits of bread into a bunch of starving prisoners…Unfortunately this unprofessional attitude usually comes from the manager/ess .

"Pewsey branch staff are wonderful"
Staff at the Pewsey branch have gone above and beyond in a friendly and professional way. My card wallet was handed in to them (as I found out via a Facebook post) and when I contacted them, they sent it back to me within 2 days! Such peace of mind to have it back again and the girl I spoke to was very helpful, kind and professional - well done!

"Co Op Disappointing product and customer service"
Co op mixed frozen veg.
After cooking the veg just as I started to serve the veg there was a string like substance clogged together.
I am so pleased I noticed this prior to serving it on my 2 year old grandchild’s plate. Dread to think what may have happened if he chocked on it.
I quickly rang the shop gave my details and went down the following day with the rest of the frozen veg and this stringy disgusting component. My details were not passed onto the store manager.
I spoke with the store manager who took my details, apologised and refunded the money I paid for the frozen veg bag.
He informed me contact services would contact me.
I went into the Darlington Cockerton store to speak with the manager to let him know I hadn’t heard from customer services. He apologised as he had lost my details to give to them. Which I gave my details for the 3rd time.
To date I have not had any response from customer service.
My concern is this may be a one off bad or a faulty batch a child could have choked if I wasn’t vigilant.
Also if there wasn’t anything found in the veg I definitely wouldn’t buy Co Op’s frozen mix veg back as the quality is poor as well as their customer service.

"The co op at havengore Chelmsford is…"
The co op at havengore Chelmsford is really expensive compared to other supermarkets.
The co op is the only supermarket that charges for membership discount. It’s only a pound to join but why? Tesco free club card points and prices discounted being a club card member, sainsbury free nectar points and discount prices with nectar, don’t see why we should need to pay for membership to get a discount!! Other supermarkets reward you for spending money in their shops, but co op don’t and their own brands are expensive and s*** quality too! Rip off company!!

"I would like to know why they ignored…"
I would like to know why they ignored their members vote regarding better chicken welfare standards? I thought this was supposed to be a more ethical company? The tv programmes highlighting the suffering of these poor living souls was too upsetting. The Co Op should be ashamed that it is not willing to abide by a vote from the members and customers it serves. Appalling. Their prices are extortionate too.
