Hair in food, called customer service and it hangs up on you and says error, t go online, this is inconvienient but even on doing so the ( long winded )complaints form crashes

6 weeks for an answer and only after lodging a complaint. £725 claim and the decision - I have not met my £150 excess ???
Guy from complaints offers £30 compensation for colleagues telling me a pack of lies. Then he tells me a rapid BACS has been arranged only to open an e-mail to say my claim is declined.
Complete and utter shambles.
Take my advise and go elsewhere. Pet insurance at the Co-Op is giving the once reputable company a bad name.

"Columbia road coop dorset"
The columbia road store is a mess...
This store was great a few years ago, but recently this store has become unbelivably bad....the management of the store are not fit for the job.
This store is a hazard. I've been in once already asked a member of staff for help.. The member of staff putting eggs away knocked a box over, the eggs cracked and spilled on the floor and the guy didn't even put a wet floor sign down, left the egg on the floor and proceeded to continue putting the eggs away, there are staff on the tills who are too slow to keep up with customers, making mistakes and overcharging people, anyone else working on the shift are in the back and no where to be seen and ques are piling up, the security staff do nothing at all, everytime they are on their phone, I've even caught them on their phone on telephone calls while supposedly working. There is no staff who do bakery the bakery is constantly empty, stock is not being kept up on and these are just issues within the store the customers are able to see let alone what's going on in the background.
This store is poorly run.

"Called on hold for 90 mins"
Called to respond to the confusing and letters about new name/details 1 and half on hold and still no reply, the company is so very out of date and poor at communications. You cannot email forms to them only hand written and posted. i have never had a pleasurable experience contacting them over the 8 years i have been with them.
I would only recommend them to my worst enemy, even then i would feel bad.

Ordered a delivery Never received my items very bad unhappy never use them again I will be making a massive complaint utter disappointed in them

"Unbelievably bad"
Unbelievable, utterly hopeless. Just did my first delivery order as so unwell, literally, not able to go shopping myself. Placed order for (large) Toblerone, received individual bar and charged for large, French stick, received nothing, ordered 2x Ben and jerrys received NOTHING.
This highlights the epitome of everything bad in customer service.
Was on hold to store as soon as notification received that order was essentially useless, but driver arrived and still no pick up from store.
I have been at home coughing for over a week, to the point my throat is raw. All I wanted was ice cream and they really had NOTHING to substitute either choice with!
Lesson learnt. First time used. Last time used. Will never use Co-op again.

Recently went into the Hamblin rd store , there was an awful smell in the shop , the store looked very shabby and untidy , lots of stock on the floor , very dangerous - such a shame , used to be a lovely tidy store , full of helpful staff .

i shop at the co op both in stores and delivery ,i know theyre a bit more expensive on everything but its convenient and deliveroo do a quick delivery if i dont want to go out ,BUT,its never right ,my local store[i dont use to go in] has never had potatoes in over 50 orders ive made ,also they send me wrong items not just substituted ones just wrong ,muffins instead of crumpets,crackers instead of cheddars etc...i rarely bother as its a ball ache trying to contact ,sometimes i order potatoes just for the 'crack ' to see if im imagining it and low and behold they come back out of stock[Saltdean local store btw],also on the deliveroo menu available you are always steered to the expensive items and its all marked up already on delivery over collection ,deliveroo btw is faultless,totally recommend them .one other thing quite often store reduced items will still be charged at full price atthe till ive noticed
