I regrettably picked up co-op's rich and chocolatey profiteroles.

Alcohol was added, along with a 100 word list of ingredients i litteraly didn't know could be put in food. I don't know what alcohol was put in there (neither do they) as it simply says alcohol. Which explains the dentists surgery taste in the cream. I have no idea which of the un-pronouncable ingredients left a film of chemical tongue covering in our mouths... but none the less its still here while I type this.

I think I've had my limit of extortionately priced plastic wrapped preservatives disguised as food.

"Co op will let you down"

So decided to give Co-op groceries a go, ordered food for next day delivery all confirmed and money taken from account. Received text that order was being prepared, left family on mother's day to ensure I was home for the 2 hr window. AND .. nothing, 7 minutes after the 2 HR delivery slot a text to say order cancelled and money will be returned but may take a few working days. Thanks Co-op, no food for childrens school meals on a Sunday evening. Amazon you need to get a grip of Co-op

"Persistently abusive staff member"

All stores rightly have a policy of not taking abuse from customers. But what about abuse of customers by staff? Because I once had the temerity to complain about the poor design and temperamental nature of their new self checkouts, there is one member of staff at our local branch who now takes it upon herself to abuse me every time I go in. Today I politely suggested that she stop doing so and learn the basics of customer service. She ended up standing in the doorway screaming at me as I left. That's it: never again - after decades, I'm done with the Coop. I also note from the other reviews that this does not appear to be an isolated problem.

"Accused Customer Of Trying to Scam Them."

I took my mother in as she had been sent a Cash Out Pay Point Voucher by Buckinghamshire Council for £60. The staff said they have been told by their Manager that they can not longer do Pay Point Cash Out Vouchers. When asked why, they said "Because we was scammed yesterday on one". This came across to us, as if we was also being accused of trying to do this, in front of their other customers. If they are not willing to provide the service they should be be advertising it as available and should not be doing other transactions on it.

Co'op is the worst convince store, honestly do not know how they still exist. The staff are rude and just can't be bothered with their customers, often openly moaning about other staff infront of customers, but only when not on their mobile phones.
Check the dates! Often produce can be upto a month out of date (in my local store). No reduction in price for items close or out of date. Also very expensive. Hopefully they will go out of business soon and another store will replace this awful rude expensive shambles of a shop called the cooperative. My advice go somewhere else/ anywhere else, just don't support the cooperative.

Coop Hayling Island prices are extortionate. Infact all coop stores are charging extortionate prices for the products on sale. I stopped using coop for good sometime ago and so should everyone else.

"Poor Service Co-op Delivery Blackpool"

Once again Warley Road screw up the delivery. Only 10 items on the order.
The first courier brought Bag No.1/4 and No.2/4. I rang the store and they apologised and said the two bags were there and a new courier would arrive soon.
2nd courier arrived with only 1 bag, No 4/4 so no. 3/4 missing, I rang again and he said there's no no.3 bag. In frustration with the guy I said how pathethic their service was. I filled in the online form for the now missing potatoes....which I guess were in bag 3/4. I then rang customer services to complain about the Warley Road store and that they needed a kick up the backside. Unfortunately it's not the first time this has happened...It was an urgent order for 10 items as I can't get out easily, I'm 80 next year and rely on outfits like the Co OP...NO MORE THOUGH....

I've been with the bank since 1976 . It's quicker to go to the bank than waiting on the phone to speak to someone ! It can't get any worse . Newsletter received from Nick Slape chief executive boasting about all the improvements made ? Sort the wait time out on the phone !

"Friendly and a professional member of staff"

I popped into the Coop in Killay (situated on the main road) Swansea for a relatively small amount of shopping for my step mum who accompanied me.
I just wanted to say how helpful a gentleman was by the name of John who went over and above to ensure our shopping experience went very smoothly with an elderly unwell step mum.
He also helped me with the Coop app which saved my mum nearly £4.00
He had amazing patience which was truly appreciated.
Thank you John staff like you are very hard to come by and we really hope that Coop management really appreciate your efforts and communication skills.

Matthew in the Faversham Road Coop store in Ashford is an absolute credit to the business. He is polite, funny and helpful and his customer service is impeccable. He deserves a pay rise and coop should reward him.
