"One stop shop"

Shipwire is greater for companies that need to distribute their products through many different global locations. presently I use them for LA, PA and Toronto. Soon I will be using them for Hong Kong and Europe

"Terrible customer interface, regular mistakes, guarantee is BS, and not even cheap."

I was with Shipwire for 9 months and am running for the hills as fast as I can. Generally a bad experience. Worst part is you dont have an account rep whose phone number and email you have. Nope. you send a request for help, and in a couple days someone gets back to you. Once ou get them, the response time to fix problems is long. They lost merchandise of mine and blamed it on the carrier, even though the pallets were shrikwrapped into a monolithic mass before shipping. I've very happ to have a found a smaller local less corporate fulfillment operation. Shipwire was largely a bad experience. One other reviewer on Reddit said, "I recommend chlamydia over shipwire." To get m merch out, I am paying them pick and pack on ever item they ship back to me.
They get you coming and going, their operations are complex so the can be easily automated, but then human error happens reliably and theyre bad about fixing those errors. A bad scene. Dont do it.

"customer service top notch"

Shipwire has given me back the freedom I have been looking for. As a small startup we handled all our fulfillment needs. This was fine for a while but once we started growing it became unmanageable without us dropping huge sums of investment in scaling the shipping process. Shipwire has a great shopify integration and they are overall very tech driven. This is key in our day and age when everything is moving so fast and online. We are looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Shipwire.

"Horrible customer service and greedy greed greedy"

I was a Shipwire customer for almost 3 years. I have so happily cancelled my account not just because of their way too high fulfillment costs, but also their lack of care for their customers, overall greediness and bad customer service.

This Christmas my customers orders were for the most part being shipped out 14 days late.......14 days!!! We had so many refunds and shipping refunds plus offering discount codes to our customers to make up for the late times.

That's how we, and any decent company treats their customers. Do you think Shipwire did this for us? Of course not it maybe would have cost them $250 to keep me happy and it would have been the right thing to do.

But hidden away is how during peak Christmas season their policy and practices they preach so strongly go out the window and are considered void. So don't think you can count on them during the busy seasons.

Honestly so awesome and I am so happy to be cancelling my account and never doing business with them again!

"Awful Experience with inventory loss"

We cooperated with Shipwire twice, in 2010 and in 2015.

In 2010, when we first used Shipwire services for about half a year, several master boxes with expensive ebook readers were lost. The total loss was around 4000$. Shipwire declared that all goods were loaded to the forwarding company and we trusted their word and thought that the goods were lost in transition. Now we are almost sure that the goods were lost by Shipwire though no proof available. Goods words about Shipwire in 2010 that they fulfilled several hundreds of our orders without significant delays or errors.

This time we got a trial lot of around 50 rather expensive items on December 2015 and within 20 days of using Shipwire services, 15% of inventory was lost ( or stolen ) within Shipwire’s premises. It is really too much and too fast. Shipwire refused to credit the loss ( they admit the loss ) because the inventory was not additionally insured by us.

But worst of all were 7-10 days delays in order fulfillment in December which ruined our Amazon sales.

I assume that the potential clients should better ( then we did ) understand how frequently the losses of inventory occur in Shipwire warehouses and that no responsibility from their side is hold.

The clients should understand the importance of inventory insurance so that they do not repeat our errors of considering Shipwire a responsible and reliable company.

"BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!"

Michael has provided the best customer service ever. He is a Saint and deserves a promotion ASAP. I have worked with him for 2 years and every single time he has come through on his promises and has serviced us through thick and thin. The kind of service Michael provides is extremely rare these days.

"Great Service"

Great service, great support!

Although Shipwire has been having a lot of issues in the past few months, they have been doing a great job of keeping us updated and the support staff has been extremely helpful. Every company has issues, this is nothing new!

"Stay away Part 1 of 5"

ok guys, let me say something best i begin.

you really have to upset me to write a review here, with that being said i warned shipwire a few times that they need to stop using this kind of tactics but they did not stop.

i will give you FACTS only not he said, she said kinda stuff.

Fact 1: they charge 35% more than what you will get charged if you go directly to ups/fedex.( they will try to convince you that they ship so much that they get a huge discount from ups that they pass onto you blah blah blah but reality is that they dont do any of that) We are now independent and saving 24 k a month just by not using them and we are a small company.

Fact 2: They will create several transactions on your bank statements, 30 out of my 40 transcations on each page of my bank statement is from shipewire.

Fact 3: they will double chrage you and accidently charge you twice, once you will point it to them however they will reimburse quickly, but with so many trction who has time to look over so many minor details.

I have worked with them unfortunately for 3 years, I will tell you that while you are busy growing your buisnssness they will be taking advantage of you.

Bottom line is that i will write this review in 5 parts this is Part 1.

My next steps will be to make a few you tube videos and start a face book page to expose them. i just want other who have been through what i have been through to show me support other than that they have done the job good enf to carry on for ever.

"Still Bad"

I had some issues initially since I started in December. The holidays slammed ShipWire and other fulfillment centers causing huge delays. ShipWire is working with me now to correct all the issues that happened (lost inventory, delayed shipping and receiving, slow support and problem resolution).

Edit: It's still really bad. They keep losing my items over and over. The orders get back ordered because they lose my items. They thought people were stealing so they moved my items to a caged area which obviously hasn't helped or they haven't really implemented it. Once my inventory is all sold I will discontinue this service. It is the worst headache I have ever had in terms of service.
