"I have a strip of land belonging to…"

I have a strip of land belonging to greenbelt, running along mine and neighbours back gardens. Greenbelt decided to plant Oak trees and other large trees close to our homes. Yes over twenty four years these are now enormous , and large branches cover half our gardens, and large roots on surface of my lawn. Greenbelts response get a firm to trim branches, as they won’t do the work, even though it’s there land and trees. Who in there right mind would plant trees so close to homes . Greenbelt take money for very little work, no helpful .
