"Paperless Billing Blackmail"

Have just received notification that I have a choice to make my billing paperless....well apparently it isn't a choice because they will start to charge me £5 year if I do not go paperless. Irony is that you've sent me a paper letter to give me the choice. Please advise how you have the right to add a £5 charge to my annual fees at your whim!

You omitted to mention the £2 you keep of the £5. I currently get a paper bill, you are just trying to sneak in an addition charge to my bill. What if I do not want paperless. What gives you right to enforce it with a charge?

"Thank you Nick from the Friends of Highfields !!…"

Nick from Greenbelt kindly donated to our local school on the Highfields Estate in Littleover. This helped towards our grand opening event, jubilee celebrations as well as our first summer fayre. Nick personally attended the grand opening event and gave seed bombs to the children and has offered to help with future gardening projects.

In my last review I asked why we pay just under a £50 recurring fee every year, per property, on admin. Rather than put a response in writing here on Trustpilot, Greenbelt’s kind response last time was that I should phone them to find out the exciting answer.

I ask again wonderful Marc and wonderful Chris who are apparently so helpful to all the first time 5 star reviewers on here, I would be very grateful if you could outline here on this public forum why around £50 per year, per property every single year forever more is such good value for money. How can admin possibly incur such a high repeating cost?

Also it is great to see so many 5 star reviews recently saying how easy going paperless was. Bravo Greenbelt for making it easy to go paperless. In contrast the 2600 - yes TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED - members of the Unhappy Homeowners Against Greenbelt Facebook group appear to disagree. That is a lot of your 100,000 "customers". I personally find the reports from these 2600 disgruntled “customers” tied into this industrial scale rip-off horrendous.

For me the main issue with this revolting company is the lack of a transparent route to complain to an independent party. In England homeowners appear to have no method to dispute appalling service other than Greenbelt’s internal process which is obviously stacked in favour of Greenbelt’s money making machine and you can guess what the outcome will be beforehand. In Scotland homeowners tied into this financial mess by their deeds can go to what is effectively a court in the first tier tribunal which is overwhelmingly daunting for most homeowners when disputing exorbitant costs and appalling service.

Updated 4-7-22: what a bunch of jokers, again unable to explain why there is an admin charge of almost 50 quid every single year for every single property, hiding behind the ridiculous excuse of not discussing individual bills in public. Truly pathetic and obvious that automated billing admin does not cost £50 per property per year on top of all the other charges.
