"Fantastic company"
Fantastic company, great products and great warranty. I bought a pair of secateurs which developed a minor fault they sent a replacement very quickly. Tools are wonderful to use.

"Kent & Stowe stainless steel digging…"
Kent & Stowe stainless steel digging Spade broke less than a year after purchase due to faulty welding seam which was completely inadequate.
Waited a month for a replacement and received the wrong size.
Have no confidence in Kent & Stowe and am very disappointed.
Who does the quality control at Kent & Stowe and will the replacement (when I eventually receive it) have the same welding fault?

"Chinese manufacture with a UK name?"
'Fraid I'm going to join the queue of unhappy customers. Was digging the garden this week and the weld between the shaft and blade came apart. The weld is {was} really thin so no surprise really. Not the quality I thought it was.

"Very poor quality tool"
Very poor quality tool - wood handled bypass loppers. Handles fall off: pivot nut and bolt un-tightens therefore the cut is not clean.

"Kent and Stowe Tools - Frustration in the name of progress!"
I merely went online to buy a replacement part from Kent and Stowe. Could not find a tele number but was redirected to an online helpline which in due course sent me to "an expert" from Howly's (have no idea who they are) who wished to charge e £24 to continue my conversation. ridiculous. Where is customer services gone when you could call up and order a replacement part. to say i am disappointed is an under statement. You pay for a tool and cannot follow up with the company you bought from. Kent and Stowe in this case.

"Fork Bent on First Use; Retailer Won't Help"
Its bad enough that the Kent & Stowe Stainless Steel Garden Digging Fork, bought from Robert Dyas, bent on first use, but Robert Dyas has refused to help, insisting that I've had the fork for more than 30 days, when in fact its delivery was significantly delayed.
My understanding of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 is that I have 30 days from taking ownership of a product (this could be the date of purchase or the date it was delivered - whichever is later) to claim a refund if it is faulty. I have done so, Robert Dyas says it won't help. Then, even if 30 days had lapsed, the retailer is obliged to repair or replace, before a refund is claimed. Again, Robert Dyas refuses to help.
Update: I am now in contact with Kent & Stowe, and the company is sourcing a replacement.

"Wooden handle / shaft snapped"
My wife was given a border fork as a birthday present in Nov 2022. Last week, the shaft snapped where it enters the metal fork head, whilst being used for some light digging in the border.
The wood looks like it wasn't very good quality, hence probably why it snapped.
My wife is only small, so the fork hasn't been abused. It has only been used in the flower borders, not for heavy digging. Of course, as a present, she doesn't have the receipt.
A shame, as she really enjoyed having a tool the suited someone of her diminutive stature.
Update:
We contacted the company about the broken fork and they were absolutely brilliant about it, sending.out a replacement with no quibbles. I simply had to email and send a photo of the broken fork. 10/10 for customer service.
