Rented a car in Geneva for Christmas a week before i went they emailed to say i would have to pay again on collection but would be given a full refund on receipt of proof of completion of the car hire and a bank statement to prove the second payment I am still waiting they refuse to answer any emails They don,t deserve any stars but giving them 1 was the only way i could give a review

"Dubiose Geschäftspraktiken"

Für den Zeitraum 28.09. - 05.10.2019 hatte ich über Check24 einen Leihwagen gebucht.

Leider hatte ich während der Nutzung einen Schaden am Reifen. Bei der Rückgabe wurde weiter ein Schaden an der Stoßstange festgestellt.
Da ich aber über Check24 eine Vollkaskoversicherung mit 100% Rückerstattung abgeschlossen hatte, war ich mir sicher das ich die verauslagten Kosten in Höhe von 460,00 € erstattet bekomme.

Der Schaden mit allen erforderlichen Unterlagen wurde über die Internetseite von Check 24 am 07.10.2019 gemeldet.

Am 18.12.2019 wurde durch Vehicle Rent bestätigt, dass ich eine Rückerstattung in Höhe von 400,00 € erhalte.

Leider ist diese Rückerstattung bis heute noch nicht erfolgt. Gemäß der Mitteilung dauert die Bearbeitung 30 Werktage. Da die Fa. Vehicle Rent in Slovenien ansässig ist, werden die Werktage ganz anders als in Deutschland berechnet. Nach Auffassung von Vehicle Rent sind die 30 Werktage am 04.02.2020 abgelaufen (gerechnet ab 18.12.2019).

Als Fazit bleibt festzuhalten: Nie wieder eine Buchung bei Vehicle Rent!

Wenn ich die Bewertungen hier so lese, stellt sich mir die Frage warum CHECK24 noch weiter mit Vehicle Rent/Car Target Group zusammenarbeitet und Mietwagen über diese Firma vermittelt obwohl bei Check24 bereits seit mehreren Monaten bekannt ist, dass die vermittelten Verträge von Vehicle Rent nicht eingehalten werden!?

I was waiting for my deposit for 90 days now! Thats what they call peace of mind insurance!! Absolute joke! Have not heard a word still and of course no money ! I am getting the fraud department involved today as its passed the deadline so they can finally deal with these thieves. Stay away!!! And dont give them your money or you will be in the same situation as me.

"Worst car rental company ever-huge scam"

Last May I booked a car with them in Sicily. The car got stolen and they charged my credit card €2440! They confirmed with me that I am entitled a full refund. I sent them several emails, I called their customer service desk numerous times and every single time I was promised that I will get my money back by the end of the month. So many months have passed already and I am still waiting. They never replied to my last email. Every month I have to pay the interest on the credit card plus I was charged with all the non sterling transaction fees when they withdrawn the money from my account. I have gathered a bit of money and will take legal action against them. I have contacted the Ombudsman Services and the European Consumer Center. Please avoid using the scammers. I can’t believe that the company still exists and people recommend them. Absolutely disgusted.

I reported them at the European Consumer Centre and they have started a case against them. It costs nothing. Whoever was scammed, please do the same. We can stop this!

"Worst rent a car company ever"

In July 2019 I rented a car on the Vehicle Rent website and I paid the most expensive insurance with total damage coverage. Since August 2019 I have been waiting for a refund to be made. They said it would take up to 90 days... However, since then, they don´t payd, ignore my emails and don't reply. A shame of company. Huge scam!

"The insurance is a scam"

It appears to be a total scam.

I hired a car in August and took out the additional excess protection insurance with Vehicle Rent - Car Target Group. Unfortunately the car got damaged in a parking lot, whilst parked, and I put a claim in and submitted all the required documents and was told that my claim was successful and I would be refunded most of the excess. Settlement would be within 90 days. It is now over 110 days and as yet no refund. All emails sent are also now being ignored.

Beware, this company appears to be fraudulent. I will now be taking up legal advice to pursue this matter further.

Habe über Check24 bei Vehicle Rent gebucht und hatte eine Reifenpanne, wodurch der Vermieter Vor Ort mir 50 EUR berechnet hat.

Dies war Anfang Oktober 2019 und seitdem versuche ich das Geld von Vehicle Rent zu erhalten - vergeblich.

Für Check24 ist der Fall abgeschlossen, Vehicle Rent meldet sich nicht.

"Nightmare rental with Vehicle Rent"

We booked a car via Vehicle Rent on March 7th 2019 for our trip in Portugal on September 13th to 20th 2019, and with Surprice rental car company.
When we arrived in Lisbon at the desk, we’ve been told that they didn’t have our car.
So we had to rent another car with another company ( a mission in the airport at 6am) for a much more expensive price.
We wrote multiple emails to Vehicle Rent, a month later they finally replied that they will refund us the second rental ( 694.32€). Despite numerous reminders since last October, no refund has been received yet.....
What are you waiting for? you agreed we had to receive our money back.

This claim should have been finalised 2 months ago - I am yet to receive any money back - after receiving a written e-mail confirmation from you guys that all my documentation has been processed and that I would receive my money back - bearing in mind that the car rental was in July last year and that you owe me £1500.00 - absolutely shameful 😡
