Nach meiner Bewertung habe ich die scheinbar übliche Antwort von Vehicle Rent erhalten, wenden Sie sich an Check 24, etc. Es zeigt mir erneut, dass der eigentliche Sachverhalt überhaupt nicht zur Kenntnis genommen wurde.
Aufgrund falscher Informationen durch mein Hotel und Reiseführer und da nirgends ein Schild aufgestellt war, bin ich, wie viele andere auch, zur Balos Lagune gefahren, dass es zu einer Offroad-Strecke wird, habe ich zwar bemerkt, zu diesem Zeitpunkt war eine Umkehr jedoch nicht mehr möglich.
Trotzdem habe ich keinen Schaden am Auto gehabt, alle Reifen waren in Ordnung, wie sonst hätte ich anschld. noch ca. 1300 km und 26 Tage in Kreta unterwegs sein können.
Da ich schon mehrfach einen Mietwagen hatte, kenne ich die Versicherungsbedingungen sehr wohl, aus o. a. Gründen verstehe ich trotz allem nicht, dass noch nicht einmal eine Kulanzregelung möglich ist.
Im Übrigen ist hier meiner Meinung nach sowieso ein Betrug mit System durch Monza Chania vorgenommen worden, der Mietwagen stand ja schon wieder für den nächsten Kunden bereit, ohne dass irgendwelche "kaputten" Reifen gewechselt wurden.
Vehicle Rent beantwortet zwar fleißig sämtliche Negativ-Bewertungen, zeichnet sich aber nach den gesehenen Bewertungen nicht gerade durch Zahlungswilligkeit im Schadensfall aus.
Für mich ganz klar, ich habe eine Rundumschutz-Versicherung abgeschlossen, bleibe auf den Kosten in Höhe von 444,67 € jedoch sitzen.
Also an alle: Aufpassen und nicht blind vertrauen, trotz Versicherungsschutz steht man im Schadensfall letztendlich alleine da und kann nur hoffen, dass man die richtige Versicherungsagentur hat.

I write to you because I was a victim of a scam by easy rent company on October 27, 2019 at 19h
I arrived to pick up a vehicle under reservation number RB99020249 when I wanted to take the vehicle the agent at the counter forced me to take insurance and other products I refused but he said that it was mandatory and he could not rent me the vehicle if I do not accept.

It was late and I was coming back from France with 10 hours of flight, my children and I were tired, it was dark and we were afraid.
I was taken hostage by this agent who forced me to pay. He took my first credit card he registered and he made me sign things that I did not understand by telling me it was mandatory
When I looked at my account yesterday I saw that he had taken me 434 dollars and 234 € for the rental of the vehicle what he does in all 700 dollars to rent a normal vehicle

My VISA PREMIER gold card insurance covers the insurance for vehicle rental abroad despite that the agent insisted that I take the insurance otherwise it does not rent me the vehicle
I find that inadmissible.

I wish the refund of the sums stolen.

Excellent product and service from start to finish. Always worry about car hire but these were great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again.

Do not use this company. Check them out on other review sites. I had a cracked windscreen a d am still waiting on a refund of my repair bill 4 months later.
