Like many other people that booked through vehicle rent I am so disappointed with the service and all i want to do is to share my experience so then people like me looking out for deals can realise for themselves this is not a serious company and there is clearly a reason why prices are so low.
I submitted a claim and was told the refund was approved and it should be processed within 90 days. I then rung customer service as nothing came through on the 90th day, they said they didn't have a direct number to speak to the claim department and that they will pass the message onto them as a matter of with urgency, since then no one bothered to get back to me nor even reply to my nearly 30 emails sent.
I don't even know whether I will see my money again, what I do know though is that I will never book through vehicle rent again, nor will I recommend any of you to do so as the moment you will get into a claim (even if you had the relax cover) they will overcharge you for ridiculous prices !
I am having to take further action as this violates my rights.

Friendly and helpful staff who waited for us later than expected when our flight arrived an hour late. Super service and we would highly recommend and we plan to use them again on our return.

Very reasonable rates, staff very pleasant. Be warned though, you do have to catch a shuttle to a far away car park. My husband is disabled and uses a mobility scooter, hence we were allowed to pick a car up 'on airport', at a nearby car park. But the return procedure/location was not explained, and as they expect most people to return their car to the far away car park and shuttle it, there is only one sign post to this car park as you enter the airport. There are no signs past that to explain where you return a car 'on airport'. This was very stressful and we drove round and round getting later and later for our flight, until we finally phoned the desk and they explained where to take the car. Now we know this, it will be fine for another time. But it was very stressful and needs to be explained clearly at pick up. Despite this I would use them again.
