I was skeptical after reading other reviews but the service we received was cheap, easy and did the job. The car was in great condition and despite us driving it for hundreds of miles across Morocco, we had no issues with the quality and it was fairly economical on fuel. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because in the policy terms & conditions document it stated that an employee from Optimo would meet us in the airport upon arrival with an 'OptimoRent' sign. No one was there when we arrived and after some time waiting, we had to call the office to find out where the car was. This meant we were charged a foreign call charge fee from our mobile provider (we are from the UK so it is expensive to call foreign numbers when on holiday outside of the EU). Other than this, the process was seamless. When we picked up the car, the employee inspected the car for damage with us and made note of existing damage so we were not charged for anything that was not our fault. When we dropped off the car we were slightly late due to traffic but the employee was very understanding and we handed the car back within 5-10 minutes.
Overall I would definitely recommend!

Avoid. They refuse to pay out insurance refund, if you ever get charged by rental company.

Great price, Took out there thier no excess worry free insurance, but won't pay up on a claim. Can't phone them won't return e-mails and as you can see trying to get hold of them is a nightmare. If you have a problem is impossible. Based in Slovenia, not part of the FSA or European counterpart, would advise to get an indepant FSA approved no excess insurance, as a seperat purchase.

Rented a car on arrival I do not get a car I had to pay more at the rental company, I immediately called that I have to pay more otherwise I do not get a car is told that I have to get it back we are now 2 weeks further and there is no solution yet. nothing at all happens very bad thing this.

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced, have been waiting on a refund for my rental on 28th September (It's now November) and have chased this every week to be told 'It has been prioritised' and should take 5 days to process. The customer service agents sound like they don't have a clue what they're talking about and they give you a generic script to get you off the phone. Withholding people's money like this can't be legal and I'm looking at taking it further with the financial ombudsman and the FCA. Disgusting treatment of their customers. To be told 'We're doing our best' is a joke in itself, if that's your best I'd hate to see you at your worst!
