"Trying to login to my account"

Trying to login to my account. No luck. Just keeps cycling with no connection. Tried 2 different computers with same result. Would be nice to have reliable service for a product that charges a fee for use.

"My SX400 SkyCaddie is 22 months old"

My SX400 SkyCaddie is 22 months old. The battery has stopped working. The device won’t charge or turn on.
I contacted the support number and was told to return the device to be checked.
I received an email today, telling me what I already knew. The device won’t turn on. They have told me they do not repair their devices and have offered me a discount on a new one. DISGRACEFUL.
DO NOT BUY a SKYCADDIE.

"Exclusive Upgrade Offers"

Received a very interesting email from Skycaddie
Offering an “Exclusive Upgrade Offers”
But when you dig deeper into the offer , it isn’t an offer at all , you can find the same deals or better deals ! At all good golf outlets , if you don’t use Skycaddie , you could sell your old device , so you would be in effect ! Better off , not taking the “ Exclusive Upgrade Offers” All very disappointing and very underhand and makes using another provider of these services a better option , Morally at the least .
Phoned Skycaddie and spoke to Georgia , total waste of time , she still thought a saving of £5 was a good deal , even tho , that would make my device disconnected , my argument was , I was better paying £5 more , but keep my device and either sell it with 9 months subscription ( possibly get £30 for it) or give it away , for someone to have the benefit , of the 9 months , but Georgia couldn’t or wouldn’t accept my point and said it was illegal , to sell it ?

"Bought the SkyCaddie LX5 smart screen…"

Bought the SkyCaddie LX5 smart screen Smartwatch off EBay USA. Item sent to Australia and have had issues setting it up. First the code provided did not match so was deemed invalid. Messaged Skygolf. The app told to use for my mobile phone not compatible in Australia. Again messaged Skygolf. Unable to sync watch because need the app. Just a huge nightmare. Have contacted EBay and was told to send the LX5 back to the seller. Return postage label provided. Device packed up and sent back. Once refunded I will buy a Garmin. More reliable and user friendly.

"renewed my subscription on my skygolf…"

renewed my subscription on my skygolf SG5, was not informed this unit is no longer compatible. however in the renewal, took my payment with my serial number included, and now advised no refund! However after contacting SkyGolf during normal business hours on Monday, they have processed my refund. Shall we say, a training exercise for those working in the off hours of how to deal with customers. Thankyou SkyGolf fir previous years of service, was really good.

"Bought an LX2 which initially worked…"

Bought an LX2 which initially worked but then completely failed. Returned it and was sent another LX2 which subsequently lost signal and reset itself during every round of golf. Also had to keep it on charge constantly otherwise it was dead when you wanted to use it. Returned second LX2 and Skycaddie initially admitted there was a fault so I requested a refund which they refused. They offered to supply another LX2 which I refused. Then was contacted by Skycaddie who said after further testing and updating my second LX2 was actually not faulty! They stated they were sending it back to me. I asked them not too and reiterated that I wanted a refund in line with the consumer rights act. They refused as it was not company policy and posted the watch back to me as I write this review. Delivery will be refused and I suspect I will be heading for the small claims court.
I have bought a Garmin approach 30 which works instantly on course, the battery last for several rounds and it doesn’t lose charge when not in use.
Not sure what has happened at Sky Caddie, my earlier devices were good but the LX2 I bought was terrible and subsequent communications with the company are like banging your head against a brick wall! My advice is avoid Sky Caddie products at all costs, there are much better devices on the market.

"Skycaddie sx500"

Bought a skycaddie sx500,the1st summer I used it overheating warnings appeared on the screen,then the touchscreen would not work,contacting skycaddie is a waste of time,they did not want to know,complete waste of £350,I would not have anything from skycaddie even if it was given to me.

"Persistent faiure to Sync with Skycaddies on line"

Just getting tired of contacting them via chat whenever I want to sync my sky caddie. It happened a few days ago, and the helpful tech chap had to share my computer and sync. I was thankful, but this has recurred so many times (for the nth time!) and I decided I am going to leave Skygolf and get a good smartwatch like a Garmin. Sad in a way as I have been a member for over 15 years!

"Skygolf totally abuse customer loyalty"

Skygolf without doubt the worst in recognising customer loyalty - do not buy as down the line it will cost you when they decide to change technology yet again. My wife and I had SGX models (cost about £180 each), both of which failed due to the weak and poor quality of the connection, both were replaced with refurbished devices at a cost of about £100 each. These models were then discontinued and we took up an offer to take Sky Touch devices (a further £100 each) however the interface to the Skygolf software platform has been discontinued albeit the devices work perfectly well. Their so-called generous offer is for us to now buy two new devices at the cost of a further £180 each! All of this whilst we have been paying for the annual subscription fees and we must have spent about £1000 with Skygolf. Buy anything other than Skygolf as you will regret it in time when they let you down. I tried to contact the global and UK CEO neither if which replied to my email.

"Do not use Auto Renew!"

Do not set your account up for auto-renew! Their system sends you emails ahead of your renewal date saying you'll lose service if you don't manually renew NOW. I did and then 3 days later the auto renew kicked in and billed me again. WHY does SkyCaddie send out emails to customers who are on auto renew telling them to renew?? I thought computer programming could create a trouble free system...not here!
