"I got so screwed over today by DHL"

I got so screwed over today by DHL; so disrespectful to send a communication with a time slot and then not show up or provide a meaningful update- ITS BEEN 3 HOURS - sent a communication this morning at 10am saying arriving 1:20-2:20pm, so I re-scheduled my doctor appointment from 2pm to 530pm and still NO SHOW. I could have gone to the doctor and back 3 times by now.

Plus I had scheduled Task Rabbit assembler for tonight and he had made arrangements for a job.

It’s 510pm on Friday.

I have to leave now for my drs appointment and they will probably show up.

So disrespectful. I am going to write a long letter to Homary too.

It’s 2025, their system is archaic, like 1990s, with automated phone system that provides NO VALUE



Should be able to provide LIVE tracking.

"DHL….- AGGRESSIVE, DEFENSIVE AND ENTIRELY UNHELPFUL."

Not sure how to be constructive or helpful, as I’ve just had 3 separate DHL staff tell me ‘it’s your problem you didn’t receive your package’…even though it was DHL who inputted delivery details in the UK, adding a 0 to a postcode causing my consignment to be delivered 4 days late… (delivered to an address I’m not going to be at)… the staff were all unhelpful, unapologetic, and defensive, constantly blaming my staff for filling in details incorrectly - ignoring the fact that my staff simply handed over the correct address to be copied.
I’m definitely never going to use this awful company again, which means my companies will also stop using DHL (up until now a considerable business cost at approx £10k pa )
Mistakes get made, which I’m totally ok with, but aggressive attitude from that company instead of finding a solution to a massively inconvenient problem is inexcusable.

Io In tutta onestà valutavo questo corriere come il massimo tra tutti i corrieri, puntuale, preciso, pacchi mai trovati rovinati o aperti anzi erano perfetti. L'ultimo ordine che ho fatto ho volutamente pagato 1,99 centesimi di € in più proprio per avere il corriere DHL. Ero sicura di tutto pacco puntuale (lo è stato per onestà) e tutto ul resto.
Non ero a casa, vero, però come tutti gli altri corrieri, vivendo in una villetta a schiera, mi lasciano i pacchi al di là del cancello.
Avrò peccato io non dico di no, ho già un cartello scritto che invita i corriere a buttare i pacchi aldilà del cancelletto. Ma ahimè per fretta mi sono dimenticata di appenderlo. Avevo però, a mia discolpa, già avvertito il ragazzo (è sempre lo stesso almeno quello che consegna a me) in un'altra consegna fattami, che se non mi trova a casa, di buttare il pacco al di là del cancello. Questa volta mi è andata male dopo 10 minuti mi ritrovo una mail che mi avverte che il pacco sarà portato in un fermo point per il ritiro.
Per nulla comodo a dove abito io e comunque ho pagato di più per avere un servizio......che non ho avuto!!!!
Dopo questo episodio, non mi avvarrò più di DHL perché spendere di più per avere lo stesso trattamento di tutti gli altri corrieri? Non vale assolutamente la pena!!

DHL are a disgrace. Paid premium service for a parcel to be delivered from Spain to UK. Now lost! Nobody at DHL will help. Can't even claim because the documentation they issued does not have the DHL number on it, only the TRACKING NUMBER!!!
Absolutely outrageous!

It’s the 2nd time in a row that I have a package return to sender. I have an open bussiness and the two times the delivery man didn’t even appear… there was not even a try to delivery it…and the notification was delivery fail: unknown at the local. I call it 5 times during the morning and they don’t even answer customer care. Horrible experience. Not worth the shot… I recommend use other delivery company.

Small parcel sent from Germany to UK on the 31/03/25, its now 11/04/25 and the tracking number details say my parcel has so far visited New York, Miami, Grenada in the Caribbean islands [4,351 miles from the uk] and its about to resume its journey to Gods knows where .
Of course DHL make it impossible to speak to anyone to find out why.
