Bought my first 'expensive' mattress set. The warranty coverage this product provides is worth the price to protect your investment. You can hear a bit of the waterproof material but it is muffled with regular sheets and comforters. Been two weeks and have no issues with the fitting or any crinkly sound you would expect from a waterproof covering.
