"Worst gateway ever"
On the 5th January 2024 i received the payments and paystack started asking me for business review which was supposed to be made during verification of my account and my bank. When its time to payout they asked me for proof of delivery and i provided and they emailed me telling me that they busy with the business review. I delivered the goods but no payment.
Im in south Africa by the way, they also told me that the buyer has reported funds fraudulent and i must send proof of delivery within 24 hours, the customer details otherwise they will refund the customer and i also did and i ask support what have you asked the customer?
How sure are you. Now im at lost my business has stopped because of this, everytime its review review review. Please pay me my money tell give the customer my details if they have a problem.
I dont why do you take and verify our details for and how can a customer buy on Friday and report on Monday.

I received my payout, they are not scams
After having doubted Paystack, I can confirm that I received my payout. At first I thought I had been scammed, I think it mainly due to the fact that they do no communicate or respond to emails. Received a payment on Dec 19, they told me they will do a review of my business and never communicated, I sent countless emails. They sent an email on the 24th of Dec at 4pm, saying I will receive payout on the next business day. I finally received on the 27th. So besides their unresponsiveness, something they have to improve on, I think they deserve a chance, and are actually doing a great job. We are a South African business and it was our first time using Paystack

Hi, I actually used to be the person who have high trust on paystack. But they fails me too. And never share any reason for my pending payout. Why paystack? Didn't we have the right to received payment from our customers? Are you the one that found those customers to us? Do you know how it takes to get one customers?. I swear one day you will get the person that will be the reason to destroy your business

The fact that Paystack is available to businesses of all sizes including SMEs like mine, is commendable.
Their tools are designed to help your business grow, and while I haven't explored all of them, I'm impressed with what's available. The dashboard for example, provides me with analytics and insights that help me make informed business decisions.
I'd like to see an improvement in the payout schedule, ensuring that we receive payments on the same day rather than the next.

If you are looking for a payment gateway to use, please don't use Paystack because you will end up regretting it.I borrowed money to run ads for my digital business, and after making sales, Paystack ended up refunding the money to the people who bought the product and accessed it.Don't use Paystack; they will frustrate you.

I'd like to share my experience with this payment provider, and it's been a source of great frustration. Initially, they seemed eager to assist, but that enthusiasm faded quickly.
The ongoing delays in their review process caused significant problems for me. It felt like they were trying to extract more information from me, all while my funds remained in their possession. Waiting for a resolution became a never-ending ordeal.
I had to insist on a clear response by a specific deadline, which shouldn't have been necessary. If the issue wasn't resolved by that time, I was ready to switch to another provider

The worst experience I have had this year is as a result of the totally unprofessional and wack payment gateway called Paystack, I run an online shop startup and I registered my business with Paystack earlier this Year which they requested for my business registration details, personal Identifications and business operating procedures which I complied and provided all these information. Everything was running smoothly, I had received a couple of orders on the site without any issue whatsoever, and in just late August 2023, I received a new order; now it was time for Paystack to release the funds to my MoMo wallet as usual but then they got in touch via email to request for the same information they had already requested and I had supplied all so I informed the support staff to check the records for my data. All this while I had informed them I needed the money the customer paid to be able to fulfill the order and to keep the business running.
Fast forward this was keeping long and the customer too was on my neck requesting for their order so out of good customer service I had to quickly rush and deliver the product(Brand new smartphone to this customer).
I then got back to the Paystack team that I needed the money urgently but to my surprise, the next email I received was they had refunded the money back to the customer's account and that it would take about 7 -10 days for the money to drop in the account.
Meanwhile, the customer had received the product already.
The best Paystack could do is to tell me to get in touch with the customer to send me the money back.
Long story short, the customer has refused to refund the money and has decided to return the brand new phone they had already used and the sad thing is I have to pay for the customer's transport to go to town including the delivery fee of the product. As I am typing this; the customer is giving me stories and has not yet sent the phone and it's been more than 2 weeks.
Now I have lost Ghc1,265 plus other expenses and gone through so much stress and in the end Paystack decided to block my account.
I am really pissed about this whole experience and I will ensure all potential businesses in Ghana get to hear this experience and advise themselves because you can not rely on this unprofessional organization.

Paystack Is The Worst Payment Gateway In The World. Don't use them for your business. Even if you're currently using it, it's better to stop and look for alternatives.
My name is Engr Mohammed Ahmadu Bello with Paystack ID 962117.
They hold my money and claim they are reviewing the source. It's just a delayed tactic in order for them to use my money without concept. Otherwise, I was surprised when I asked them to refund the money to its source and close my Paystack account, which they refused as well.
But they keep promising they will release it to me, but for a whole week, they have refused to do so.
They won't even respond to your mail on time, and when they do, they will start asking you unnecessary questions.
Unless they change and my money is released immediately or refunded to the source immediately, With the stress they have put me through. I'm certain Paystack will never succeed anymore.
It's time to let them know not everyone takes bullshi*t.
Don't use them, or they will fail your business. If you use them, you will regret it.
I will change this review if necessary. But until, be warned!

Paystack is an organised Scam
business owners stay far away from paystack, Never use them as your Payment gateways, you and your clients will go through hell, they will scam and steal from your clients.
Online shoppers/ buyers, stay Far away from any business that use paystack as their payment gateways, they are into the fraudulent business together. After getting your money, they will say your transaction failed and a reversal has been made, which you will eventually never get back.
POV: It’s been 1 month since paystack scammed me of N230K from pureegythian website on 26.06.2023 and claims refund/reversal has been made. Today 25.07.2023 no refund/ payment has been credited into the account the payment went from.
I will be suing the company.
It’s such a shame that this company has a license to scam innocent citizens of their hard earn money.
