"Incredible bad company policy"

My Ozone Generator Assembly modul Item 11562 for my Krystal Clear Ozone Saltwater System Model ZS8230 stopped working.

In case this may happens you must replace it according to the instruction manual from INTEX, where also the item number are listed. Unfortunately it seems impossible to by a new assembly. As I am living in Denmark, I tried to contact the Danish dealer, but they reverted, that they were unable to deliver this "sparepart". My next step was to contact INTEX to help me, using the form on their homepage for complaints. I found no other way to get in contact with the Company. INTEX referred to their agent in California, who I followed up contacting, but he was unable to help as well and reverted a message saying tat a spare part with the mentioned Item number, didn't exist.

Next, I reverted to INTEX once more, but got exactly the same answer once more as if they didn't read my message at all, - I believe a robot answering machine gave it to me, "contact the Dealer in California".

It seems to me, that INTEX shouldn't be on the European marked if they do not feel the responsibility to have a retailer for service and spareparts in the area.

I have tried seeking in google in many ways, but didn't find anywhere possible to purchase the spare part.
Strange and very bad company behavior and completely unacceptable.

My next step will be to complain to the Danish legal consumer authorities for either a wakeup call to INTEX or to get an export stop for their products to the Danish marked.

It seems to me, that their behavior are rather systematic judging from the complaints here on Trustpilot.

My crystal clear ozone saltwater unit suddenly died. Wrote to Intex support and send them a video of the error. Next day there was a parcel at my house with a new control unit. Thanks intex

Zeer slecht geen contact mee te krijgen of enige hulp. Na een dag boos zijn ons product maar terug gestuurd. Niet doen niet doen. Echt niet doen

"Crap pools"

I bought 2 pools from them about 15 years ago and they where pretty good, nice pool cover, ladder was well built and I only paid $250 for the whole set up 15x48. Then I just bought my 3rd pool recently same style and size, and this one is just so cheap, there was 3 pin holes in it that leaked water, the ladder is flimsy and the cover has 4 fifty cent piece size holes in it. Why would you put holes in the debri cover? Rain water and bugs get in and pool water leaks on to the cover. I paid $450 for this set up, I can understand raising the price but to make the pool cheaper is just wrong. Customer service is horrible, waited 2 hours for someone, couldnt understand the rep. Now im waiting for a replacement of the liner and now I got to drain about $50 in water and $15 in chemicals and redo the process all over again while waiting for the water to warm up again.

The ring will not stay patched. I have talk to several people who told me the same thing with ring not staying up never by intex again

OMGosh!! It's Monday, I've been on hold for 1 hour and 25 and still going. For kicks since I'm home I'm letting the clock tick and the phone on speaker. This is the 3rd time I've tried to contact INTEK. T E R R I B L E cusomer service for a company raking in the money for the other suckers who may think, like I did, this is a HUGE company, been in buisness for a loooong time, so they must have integrity. Get rid of that thought. What a joke. They hire "off shore" operators that are less than friendly. SHAME ON YOU INTEK.

"Set up for a let down"

We were so excited about our above ground pool. It took all day to set up and then leaked all over the place. Can't get ahold of them at all. Wish I had never gotten myself into this mess.

"UPDATE - Awful customer service"

UPDATE - after all the non-sense they surprised me and eventually sent a replacement pump, I changed my rating from one to three stars. Intex would do well to streamline this process and make it easier to manage with out the extraordinarily long waits and poor communication. Original review as a reference: Awful customer service, DO NOT waste your time with their customer service if there is a problem. Just box the product up and return to the store for a refund or replacement. They will waste hours of your time and not do anything to fix an issue if there is one. In my case the pool pump failed to work brand new/out of the box. Instead of arranging a replacement they came up with excuses and a general run around to do nothing.

If I could give them negative 10 stars I would.Bought $2400 pool and It came damaged it took them 2-3 weeks to accept the claim and then 5 days to ship just a liner for the pool and on top of everything the label that they put fedex scaner could not scan so my pool was suppose to be up and running from May 30 we are June 25 today and still no liner I'm suppose to receive the replacement liner in July so I spend all those money for pool just so I don't have a pool for the entire summer kids are starting school in August so I will be using the expensive pool just for 2 weeks just because Intex is lazy don't care for customers we have been calling 2 times a day everyday and they did nothing also when we ship the parts to them we paid by our self because they didn't send us a label to print and we did overnight delivery

"Penosa empresa ,estafadores."

Lástima no haber visto la experiencia de mucha gente con esta empresa INTEXIBERIA ,o intex España, mi opinión es que son bastante vagos ,pero si tu credibilidad ya está muy dañada pues que puedes hacer como empresa ,pues nada esperar que llegue alguien como yo que en este caso no se lea las opiniones de los demás.
Le he comprado un jacuzzis de 1200€ y añadí un lote de productos que anunciaban con una foto , hay productos ,luz de fondo ,dosicador etc que simplemente no van a llegar y es que se equivocaron en la foto , y ya está, es lo que ellos digan ,se que es poco dinero pero aún me planteo una denuncia por publicidad engañosa . Espero que esto sirva a otras personas para no comprar a esta empresa . Como es logico tengo pruebas de todo lo que he escrito aquí.
