"Unpleasant to deal with, patronising, block complaints, refunds take over specified time set by government "

25% off this company’s reviews are 3 stars and below. 1 in 4 people are not completely satisfied, those are high chances of disappointment.

Please please take time to read the negative reviews before you purchase since there is a running theme of long waits to receive items, long waits for refunds and extremely rude customer service, all of which I can vouch for as being correct since that was also my own experience.

I can add to this that the gucci earrings I purchased didn’t even come in a box but loose!

Unprofessional, rude, patronising … if you complain about it, the customer service supervisor is even ruder himself. He blocked my request for escalation, his staff won’t give names of anyone higher and all in all it’s a tight group of advisors that cannot be in the wrong and despite spending over £2k they couldn’t care less about keeping your custom.

Lead time of order was over 4 weeks but never mentioned at point of sale. Refund apparently takes 2 weeks but I’ve just been told on the phone they didn’t process it in time for that to happen - so that’s now illegal.

Disgusting company, would never deal with again, they state they will refund return cost and then get hateful and say ‘you didn’t like it so you will pay for the return’, actually I was returning it because it came over a month late!

I can’t believe that a company dealing with such high profile brands get away with being SO bitchy, please be prepared for this if you deal with customer services …

To quote snippets from customer service supervisor’s response email to my complaint:

‘I strongly feel an issue is now being made of a non issue’ (this is the customer service supervisor)

‘ as you were returning the item as you did not like the design you will bare the cost to return it as stated in our T&Cs. As you are local to Matlock this could have also been returned in store’.

I was returning the item because the item was over a month late and missed the event. Neither is my ‘locality’ to a store dependent on my refund for returning an item that I had pre-arranged to have postage back for - they go back on their word.

‘ At this stage and considering all involvement I will not be escalating this issue further, senior figures within the company have seen your corespondance and have asked me to address them. We will consider the matter closed’

I don’t consider the matter closed. But you can consider my account with you closed.

Considering the unpleasantries and on occasion raised voices and name-calling, I review this team as having some bullies within it. I don’t deal with bullies. The less people buy there, the less support they will have.

I still haven’t been refunded
Received back with them on 25th July. It is now 7th august and still hasn’t been processed by accounts. 14 days gone by as per law timeframe, still hasn’t happened and they are VILE about it.

I have been incredibly fair in this review I’ve refrained from naming the names of the unpleasant staff but I have counted up the ones that have ignored me, been rude, given false information or declined to escalate complaints or called me names such an ‘active volcano’ and the total is 10.

"Delighted Customer"

I am delighted with the jewellery I have just received from C W Sellors. Jack and the workshop listened to my specific design request (stone colour) and went the extra mile to make a piece that exactly matched my requirements. I am absolutely delighted, as is my partner. It was good value for money, but more importantly for me, the quality and finish is superb. Very much appreciated.

"Beautiful Blue John Jewellery"

Having visited the Blue John Mines in Castleton, Derbyshire a while ago, my wife happened to mention in a passing comment that she'd like to own a piece of Blue John. So July 2024 was to be my wifes 70th birthday, so whilst searching online I came across Jewellers C W Sellors, spoke to a lovely lady called Emma and we struck a little deal on a pair of earrings, necklace and bracelet. Items had to be made, so waited for them. When my wife opened the beautifully gift wrapped packages, she knew instantly what the stones were which were set in silver surrounds. She loved them so much so that a twinkle came to my wifes eye and a smile that said that I had chosen wisely. A big THANK YOU to C W Sellors for your guidance. If the wifes happy, then i'm a happy soul also. X

"Won’t be ordering from them again"

In honesty, incredibly disappointed with the first interaction with C W Sellors as frankly, they are incredibly underhand.

The watch I returned was not even tried on.

I arranged the return as soon as it was delivered due to the poor quality. It then remained boxed, AS IT ARRIVED, until I was back from holiday.

They have since decided they won’t refund the watch due to ‘signs of wear’…casting marks in the carbon (Luminox), on the underside of the case and underside edge of the bezel. Very strange places for ‘wear’ to occur and not seen on any of my other watches.

Thankfully, I do have photos of the unworn watch in the packaging and I’m now involving the Manufacturer & Ombudsman for renumeration due to the responses I’ve had to this spurious claim from C W Sellors.

I have also requested QC photos of the watch at dispatch.

Seemingly, this is a very common issue with C W Sellors looking at watch pages, forum and Trustpilot.

I will not be dealing with them again and would urge others to think twice too. Customer service is most important when something goes wrong; they might be cheap but lacking in morals and service.

Edit: the eventual conclusion after my dispute was escalated, was a refund. Hany was great, can’t fault the response.

I requested pre-dispatch photos; which showed the damaged being disputed.

Advice would be inspect any pieces on delivery. Not a great experience but been somewhat saved…providing the refund arrives in the prescribed amount of time (7-14 days).

"Was contacted after browsing and accepted a much better deal they offered me personally"

Had been looking at watches and gone on to purchase from another company, but was contacted by CW Sellors to ask about an item I had left in my basket.
I explained that I had purchased elsewhere, but Kristie kindly offered to see if she could get me a better deal. She did and included next day Special delivery, so I cancelled my other order and bought from CW Sellors.
Kristie was very kind and helpful throughout! Highly recommended

"I have been looking for a watch winder…"

I have been looking for a watch winder for some time but not sure about the cushion size, Sam at C W SELLORS messaged me to say she could order one for me to try and she could also arrange for the smaller holder to be delivered at the same time. Everything went very smoothly and the shop could not have been more helpful. Would certainly use them again.
