"Avoid like the plague"

Avoid like the plague, all of our details were correct when we booked through them however they transmitted the info incorrectly to American Airlines, who said the travel agent needed to sort but the India call centre you get though to doesn’t think there’s anything wrong! Horrendous customer service, pay more and go direct to the airline or a reputable travel agency. They also have other names Travel Trolley and Southall Travel

"Fly Sharp - poor rebooking service!!"

After reading all of the below issues with rebooking flights - I am too having issues with rebooking my fight using Fly Sharp’s credit note!

My initial flight that was cancelled due to Covid was premium economy and upon rebooking I requested to downgrade the cabin class only to be told that’s not possible even though the new premium economy flights are more than triple the price. Fly Sharp told me it is Virgin Atlantic‘s policy to not allow downgrading of cabin class – however I contacted Virgin and they confirmed they do allow downgrading in class and that it must be Fly Sharp’s policy to not allow this. I since went back to Fly Sharp, however I have not had any response to my complaint email.

Surely Fly Sharp’s rebooking terms and conditions should mirror the airline you booked on???

It seems Fly Sharp are happy to just offer credit notes knowing they have your money and when it comes to rebooking aren’t bothered!! PLEASE AVOID!!!!!

"My horrible experience with Fly sharp"

Dear Friends - sorry for a long message but i definitely want to share my horrible experience with Fly sharp which is part of southall travells and I am fighting for justice

1.Booked a ticket in december 2021 for 1st april return 21st april to attend a function on 2nd april. Ticket price was £1015 perperson

2.Early march in a casual conversation about our travel with one of my relatives who works in a travel agency came to know the BA flight on 1st was cancelled.

3.Phoned flysharp - Flysharp says ' yes no flight on 1st april and hence your tickets have now been rebooked by the airlines for 2nd april -22nd april - We were shocked to know this was done without even asking us . They said it was airline's fault . So we called airlines (BA) - Airlines said its Agency's responsibility to inform the customer and issue refunds
4. requested Flysharp to refund our monies when they say - yes we can refund fully but we will charge you £200+ per person as cancellation
Why should we pay cancellation for no fault of ours ? we told we won't accept it
5. So they opted to return the money as vouchers to re-book when we thought all was well . We thought it was a voucher which will give us a flexibility to book on our own . But it was a voucher which we need to book only through flysharp. Now we tried re-booking to a different dates through them for which every proposal given by flysharp has been completely unfair / unreasonable !
Here are the propsals given by them
1. Flysharp says we need to book like for like class . I originally booked Primier economy for april 1-21st for £1015 per person.
To rebook to a different date - Flysharp quoted me £1600 more per person (primier economy). I told i don't want premier economy as it 3 times pricey and doesn't make sense. but they were not willing to accept . So a few calls back and forth
2. Then comes Second proposal - we can get you the money fully refunded but we need to charge you
£240 per person cancellation . But Why ??? we didn't change the dates or cancel . For no fault of us we being charged £240 per person ? Again calls back and forth
3.Then comes third proposal. Flysharp said - We will book through some other airlines. Gulf Airlines for the same date - you don't need to pay a penny . I thought that was good but ....
When i looked at the Gulf air website - it was £740 return for the same dates and flights. Again Flyshapr are trying their trick here to loot £400 This is highly disappointing
I am now fighting to get my money back so that i can book on my own! For no fault of us - So much of time wasted and added stress ! We need a separate compensation for this !

"Unprofessional and extremely poor…"

Unprofessional and extremely poor service; crooks. I changed my mother’s return ticket to lahore due to COVID so the return journey remains valid and now they are trying to make me buy another ticket. They refuse to change the existing ticket and allege it has expired despite me referring them to ethiad airlines policy which is published and says that COVID related changes must be used by the end of may 2022 so the ticket should not be expired. I have been trying to get this sorted from February 2022 and made numerous phone calls and emailed them a complaint on 3 March 2022 but Still no joy. Stay away from this company and southall travel.

06.04.2022- further to the complaint and the reply below I just want to update everyone to let them know the solution offerred by fly sharp was to pay £470 or over £550 for using the return ticket. This is more than the cost of a single ticket. They keep hiding behind the blanket that the fate difference must be paid and the additional taxes. Despite the fact that I have mentioned tax has been paid on the existing ticket they refuse to listen. Also I understand fare differences but I don’t understand how the fare difference on an existing ticket can be more than the cost of a one way single ticket.

It is the carriers responsibility to bring people back to their home destination according to travel legislation so I will take this further and complaint to ethiad, travel regulators and ombudsman

"Untrustworthy."

Belatedly admitted they owed me more than they had previously stated. Rather than process a credit to my card they tried to debit again then denied it. Found any excuse to withhold my money. Several weeks after cancelling the flight I am still owed over £1200. Do not trust.

Flysharp just sort your processes and treat all customers fairly don’t come asking for more details .

"I wish i can give a minus star"

I wish i can give a minus star , book a ticket through Fly sharp , they sent me electronic ticket through email , early morning i had my flight from London heather to Doha , when i arrived on counter after waiting in long queue
The guy over the counter told me your ticket been cancelled you have to book a new ticket
So i paid at the spot to airline for a new ticket £120
I called this stupid staff company n they refund my money over after 8 weeks
What a rubbish n time waister people

"Fly sharp do not provide all relevant…"

Fly sharp do not provide all relevant information when booking the tickets. They generally book you under the cheapest ticket with reduced baggage allowance. This only comes to light once you have received the invoice / e-ticket. There was no specification on the invoice / ticket / email that the ticket booked was a ‘Light Fair’ and you only get know this once you login to the airline portal. The light Fair ticket generally has a reduced back age and you also have to pay for your seats allocation

"If it was possible to give no stars at…"

If it was possible to give no stars at all I would. Having booked to go to Florida and unable to go we rebooked to go to Paris. Unfortunately covid stopped us from going so we requested a refund. After going back and fourth for around two months we finally got a confirmation to say we will be receiving the refund and to wait up to 5 days. 5 days past, no refund. Another call to this department they said wait up to 10 days. After 10 days only £100 returned to us, we were waiting for over £1000. Again another phone call and no phone call back from the correct team. 5 calls later finally got hold of the manager. He said they did refund us that as it needs to be on cheque. No cheque has been sent. Now awaiting another phone call to confirm this has been done.

Do not book with this company. They are quick to take your money but do not want to give it back. Terrible customer service and the agents can barely understand you and need training in order to speak to people properly.

It has now been 2 months and still waiting for a simple refund which they have promised!


UPDATE: they say they will look into it on priority but still nothing will happen. They have said this multiple times.
