"Crooks and steal from service members"
They advertise premium packages as being free of cancellation and change fees, but all they are saying is that you are waiving THEIR third party fee. I am a recently returned Peace Corps volunteer due to the evacuation of all volunteers at the hand of the COVID-19 pandemic and am currently without a job and do not qualify for unemployment as I was just previously a volunteer and not an employee.
Despite the premium package being the only available option for travel insurance at the time of purchase and advertised as protecting you from cancellation fees and change fees, they refuse to cancel or refund any part of my flight which I can no longer take. They sell this option even on flights which are non-refundable (buried deep in the fine print), thus knowingly charging people for an entirely useless service.

I understand the high demand due to the Coronavirus situation but Vayama is not responding at all, I have been calling for days, I emailed them 5 times!! nothing so I am wondering if someone is actually working there. I have 3 tickets to reschedule because my family cannot leave the country for at least 2 months. The worst is that they charged me already for "online fees" haha VERY BAD customer services!

Someone sue this company out of existence
American Airlines already refunded me for my ticket. However, as Vayama used an internal credit card to purchase the ticket instead of the credit card I provided them, they received the refund, and have yet to return it to me. I understand how with everything going on this company can't process refunds over the phone or even answer the phone for right now. However, I have emailed this company 4 times, and never received a response. I also understand that in certain situations Vayama will be unable to receive a refund from the airline. However, In this situation, I already did their job for them and got them a refund. This isn't just poor customer service, this is outright theft.

Vayama is the scam and has the worst service ever. I have been contacting vayama team regarding cancellation of my flight bookings to Japan since past three weeks and these guys are unreachable by any means i.e. e-mail and call. Call is directed to voice-message which ask you to contact them via e-mail and they don't respond back to e-mails. One of the e-mail response at initial cancellation states the flight booking was non-refundable. I don't remember non-refundable booking was disclosed anywhere initially during booking process.
I directly contacted All Nippon Airlines customer service and cancelled my flight booking. As per All Nippon Airlines, it is full refundable and the refund process shall be processed by Vayama as the booking were made via Vayama. After that All Nippon Airlines customer representative mentioned Vayama team gets notification about it right away whereas Vayama team does not respond on this subject matter at all even though their website update states they will process refund once update from airlines company is received.
Hope, Vayama team will take this issue seriously and resolve issues like this for all their customers.
Otherwise, it is clear that none of their customer would recommend Vayama.
Better make direct reservation from airlines website.

"I absolutely vouch for all those…"
I absolutely vouch for the reviews all those clients made against Vayama. But they still in business and Trip advisor still recommend Vayama as one of the best travel agent. They know the situation around the world,travel advisories from several countries ban travellers other than the citizens of that country to enter and very recently all international fights are totally banned from landing. The restrictions are from port of departure as such if there is fight that require to change aircraft in between god only help such passengers from getting a refund or a future voucher. Vayama advice such customer to find out if the flight is cancelled or try with the airlines to rebook or get a voucher. Where as the airlines inform the customers if the tickets is booked thru an agent get in touch with the agent to cancel the booking for full refund or get a voucher for future travel. What nonsense. Please canvas more and more against Vayama. Please book thru the airlines even if it cost little more than the agents.

"Don’t book with Vayama"
Vayama has been a nightmare. I am unable to contact them by phone and when I try contacting them by email, there is no response. I’ve also tried contacting by social media and still no luck. I need a refund for my cancelled flights due to Covid-19. I am not the only one expediting this. I see a lot of comments and reviews with the same issue.
I booked another passengers ticket via Orbitz and they were great and did a full refund right away with no additional fees.
Stay away from Vayama.

el dia 7 de marzo de 2020 compre tres boletos de ciudad de mexico a cartagena de indias con escala en ciudad de panamá, en la cual en la pagina aparecía un costo total de $1.831.040.
cuando me di cuenta Vayama havia hecho dos cargos a mi tarjeta de crédito, el primero por $814.043 y el segundo por 1.874.902 para un total de $2.688.945 y me envían una factura por valor de $1.831.040. al final por el tema de la pandemia me cancelaron el vuelo y no me han devuelto ni un centavo.
me he cansado de enviarles correos pidiéndoles explicación y reversión del cobro y nunca responden, opte por generar un PQR ante la superintendencia y estoy a la espera de una respuesta.
NUNCAAA COMPREN CON VAYAMA, NO CUMPLEN , SON UNOS ESTAFADORES Y NO DEVUELVE LA PLATA.

If booking in this site with no flight problems and dont deal with customer service you should be fine. The problem in this travel agency they dont reply to any of your request or issues most especially with this pandemic happenings which i am expriencing right now. You probably can email them in there website but the problem is they havent been replying. My airline doesnt want to deal with me either as they instructed me to deal with the travel agency with any issues. So im back to square one. In time of this writing the worse travel agency i deal so far. My flight was cancelled and hopefully i will get my refund. I could tell its not just me having problem with them and a lot of complaints already in this review.
