trying to get to talk to customer service and bookings very hard the phone keeps ringing no one answers . finally when you do talk to someone noone gets back to you regarding the con note your chasing up on.

atleast 80% of our Deliveries with Hunter are Late Sometimes By Weeks! we have been with them for 15 years and over the last 2 years since they started Cutting Drivers they have Become Useless! i Would Never recomend them to anyone!
there is a couple of Staff and Drivers who are useful and Polite Nameley RoB and Michael Drivers and Monique and Jessica in Accounts and Customer service.
i wish i did not have to Write this as i am not easily Unimpressed but something needs to be said.
THE BELOW REPLY IS A COMPLETE LIE! just this week alone we have needed to chase 3 deliveries!! there is Phone and email records to prove this aswell! maybe the person replying is not lying but whoever gave him the Information is!

"Lost or stolen wine"
I sent two cases of wine to a customer in Sydney in November 2018, the wine was damaged and after about a dozen emails it was agreed that Hunter would return the damaged stock... Well this has never happened, not surprising really.

Well I used to think Telstra were s**t and they had attained the title of god-awful customer service. Incompetents as they are Telstra shine like brilliant beacons of success when in comes to customer relations in relation to Hunters seemingly limitless inadequacy.
I wait in anticipation, hoping someone may return my wine, but fear it has already been consumed at a Christmas party somewhere.

"Unreliable and poor customer service"
They are probably one of the cheapest but very unreliable when it comes to their services. Their contractors often damage our products by mishandling and Hunter always try to avoid responsibilities by saying that we don't have insurance but doesn't cover our products!
When we call their customer service line, we have to wait for a long time before someone answers the phone and these staff can never answer our queries but would say that someone will contact us but no one ever does. Then we would try to email them but we wouldn't receive a reply until 1-2 days later and weren't even directed to our questions. We don't even receive any reply these recent days.
Their online quoting system is pretty useless when we have to do our own calculations to get the right cubic weight in order to get the right quotes. If we don't and let their system calculates its own cubic weight, the quotes will be completely wrong. Unsure why they can't set their system to work out the right weight? Totally useless!!
Hunters also sometimes charge us twice for the same deliveries at different rates!! If you don't check their invoices and each job they've done, you'd be out of pocket more than you can imagine. They can never give you the right answers for that so what they do is to not answer you at all!! All their charges are never transparent even when you question them.
If you are using Hunters service, please do yourself a favour by checking each job, comparing each delivery docket to invoices as you'll find some different figures by the end of the months.

Terribly run company, management have no idea what they are doing and the staff couldn't care less. Nothing works like it should and their procedures and policies are some of the most ridiculous in the industry.

"Bad inconsistent customer service & lost hardware not good enough"
Phoning customer service - always 10-15mins. Placed an order for insurance quote on 30 monitors- quote lost. Later received that quote 2-3 days after lodging further request. Ready sorted with competitor.
Main concern was Hunter lost our client's hardware. We were told different stories from different people. Any response online or to an email was unacceptably slow. We were told to put in a claim (which was modest) and sent invoice as per instruction. After much delay we were told we weren't covered for driver's loss. We've got to go back to our client!
Sydney drivers were always good and helpful. Communication with anyone else unacceptable. We are subsequently looking elsewhere.

"Lost and damaged freight, missed collections, difficult to get hold of"
Lost and damaged freight, missed collections. Unable to contact someone and/or no responses to emails for days. Services are starting to improve, we have noticed a new Customer service guy who recently calls us, we have also been given new processes and contacts for freight collections and escalations. Have used Hunter Express for years, and we always see drops in service around peak times such as Easter, Christmas, Public Holidays, etc so recommend taking on additional temporary staff (Customer Service/Drivers etc) with more future planning to assist during the peak seasons. Looking forward to continual improvements, especially around Customer Services and Delivery time-frames. The staff we deal with are always pleasant and friendly and i would give them 5-stars, this 2-star review is purely based on the overall delays in responses to emails and collection/delivery services provided by Hunter Express
