Always experience excellent customer service and great quality items. I've had sofas, beds, wardrobes, shelves, TV units, tables, all very high quality and stylish. Recommended.

"Exceptional Customer Service"

Bought an Athena recliner chair over 4 years ago and it recently developed a loud squeak when you sat in it. As it was outside the usual guarantee, we were unsure if Bo Concept would fix the problem. We needn’t have worried as Paige immediately arranged for one of the team to come out and look at the chair. They arrived on time and were extremely helpful and fixed the problem. Paige rang to check that we’re happy with the fix the following day. This is great customer service and we’d recommend Bo Concept at Fenwick Newcastle. In particular, Paige’s handling of our issue was exceptional.

"Just so disappointing"

I can only echo the many other reviews that have the same theme of awful service and quality. I completed a complicated renovation project in NW3 in early 2022, having used all kinds of suppliers for kitchen, bathroom, wood flooring, lighting and everything went unbelievably smoothly. I thought buying the furniture at the end would be the fun part. I bought a few pieces from Heal's and now seriously regret not just getting everything from there. I placed my order at BoConcept Harrods, and that experience in itself made me feel as though I was doing the staff a favour, despite an order value of over £7k.

We had to chase at every stage (e.g. to get order confirmation, and to find out about delivery).

I last bought furniture in 2007 from IKEA for about 5% of the price I paid now, and the experience and quality was honestly better than BoConcept.

When the furniture arrived (at least it was broadly on time!), lo and behold there were chips and splinters on all of the dining chair legs. The delivery men (probably the best part of all this experience, two really friendly chaps) themselves noticed how badly splintered the legs were and reported this. Then followed about a week of having to chase this up with BoConcept to see what would happen next. At no point would you think this was a company that was appreciative of my custom.

They offered a pitiful amount of compensation for the inconvenience (which still hasn't been received). And required constant chasing to find out about remediation, and redelivery. I also have no confidence that the new chair legs will actually remedy the issue (which simply appears to be poor quality materials and workmanship).

Save your time and headache, and please go anywhere else other than BoConcept. And I write this as a really really experienced shopper. Hands down the worst experience I've had in 20 years of buying goods.

"APPALLING"

Ordered a sofa and 2 chairs in March 2021 at a cost of just under £4k from Boconcept Birmingham. Delivery made in June 2021 with one if the chairs being damaged. Chair reordered and arrived in October 2021 and was a different shade to the original chairs. Therefore 2 new chairs had to be ordered and these were received in Feb 2022. Again, there was an issue, this time one of the chairs which wobbled. We were told by the franchise MD that this can happen where the frames warp but should would sort itself out over a week or two of use - it didn't! There solution was to send a local furniture repair company to visit to who decided to place 2 large washer between the chair base and leg flange! We told them this was unacceptable so we contacted the franchise MD again, who basically have said thats this is the best they can do for now and this on a Brand New £800 Chair! Given our relationship with the franchise has all but broken down, particularly as we were told by another director in writing that we could keep the original damaged chair and yet the MD threatened us with legal action if we kept it, we therefore wanted to contact Boconcept Customer Services direct. But guess what, NO EMAIL, NO PHONE NUMBER or NO ADDRESS available for Boconcept Customer Services, you just get led back to your local franchise. Eventually found Boconcept on social media so contacted them with my complaint and that we were unhappy with franchise and chair. They said they would pass it onto the relevant team in the UK - it has now been 3 weeks since doing so and we have had no response and this even though I have contacted them on two further occasions to find out what is going on. Now going to consider what legal avenues I can pursue. CONCLUSION - POOR QUALITY FURNITURE AND APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE SO SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

"Leider nicht zu empfehlen"

Die im Store ausgestellten Möbel sind schön, deshalb habe ich dort auch ein Sofa und einen dazu passenden Hocker bestellt.
Leider hält BoConcept seine Lieferversprechen nicht ein.
Die Kommunikation ist wenig hilfreich und nicht kompetent.Ich habe seit Monaten meine Bestellung vierstellig angezahlt, und habe jetzt die vierte Lieferverzögerung, werde vermutlich vom Kauf zurücktreten.und mein Geld per Anwalt einklagen müssen.Auf Nachfrage woran es denn liege, dass das Sofa nicht käme teilte mir eine Dame dort in fröhlichem Ton schriftlich mit, das sei bei den Schlafsofas von BoConcept meist so, da gäbe es immer ein Problem mit der Montage der Schlaffunktion....beim Kauf wurde davon natürlich nichts gesagt.Ich würde aufgrund dieser Erfahrungen nichts mehr bei BoConcept kaufen.

"Quality not as expected ..."

We purchased the Mezzo a couple of years ago. Great customer experience whilst buying the furniture. Unfortunately part of the fabric (we went for the more expensive and better quality fabric) got worn and needed replacing ... at the time when we bought the Sofa we were told that the fabric will be easily replaceable in the unlikely event that it will wear out .... well little did we know, unfortunately for us the Mezzo is discontinued and as a result non of the upholstery can be repaired/ replaced at BO Concept.

Shame to be let down with experiences (I am referring to the quality) like this as other than that we love the BOConcept design.

"Easy process from Start to Finish"

From start to Finish, BoConcept in Kingston helped us to design and choose the right cabinet for our room . Dimitris, went out of his way to help us through the process, showing us all possible design alternatives that best suited room and budget, and keeping us informed all the way until installation. Great service, lovely team including the fitters who were very professional, clean and did a great job. Thank you.

"Alert- They do not deliver"

We ordered a dinner table and 4 chairs from the Harrods concession. We were assured we would get the table in 4 weeks - we are now in month 4 and 1 day before delivery, they've informed us they lost the table. Wanting to know when the delivery will take place, they do not return emails or calls. Harrods itself cannot reach them in their own store. Best not buy from this brand until they get their act together. Terrible service and no management.

UPDATE - notwithstanding the suggestion that the table and chairs was going to be delivered imminently- still NO delivery. The poor reviews say it all.

"false pricing, bait advertising"

On 30th March, I visited Harrods with my family members to research designer furniture for our new house. The salesperson also showed us some ex-display units on an Excel file in his computer and a set of four blue dining chairs; minor defects on two of the chairs caught my attention immediately. He confirmed the price of the four chairs as a set as being £312 and told us that if we wanted to secure these then we would need to pay on the same day. We paid immediately at 13.44 and obtained the receipt. However, later in the evening at 18.41 he messaged me via WhatsaApp and informed me that the price of the four chairs was wrong and the list that he had shown me was for each dining chair instead of all four. This unpleasant conversation lasted until 20.24 for around two hours via WhatsApp. My family and I were astonished to receive this new information. We have since read mixed reviews of the brand on the internet. My family’s solicitor has advised me that I should pursue my case with you initially to determine whether any satisfactory result can be reached at an early stage.
