"Christmas came early!"

We spent a week from Dec. 19-26 at Destin Bound rental in Destin, FL. We had 4 of our 5 children with us and their 6 children. The golf cart was a highlight for the grandkids and we spent several days at the beach via the golf cart. All 7 bedrooms and baths were super clean and the only glitch we had during the week was a realtor coming in and telling us there had to be an inspection because the property had been sold. The inspection took 3 hours, but the inspector was very courteous and tried to stay out of our way. The next day the new owners of the property stopped by with the developer's wife who asked if they could check out the property. We accommodated them and the developer's wife was very apologetic. She gave us a VISA gift card for the trouble, but we did not want to accept it. She insisted. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything we needed and the family rooms on each of the three floors were well used. TVs in every one and a pool table on one of the floors. There was a community pool and sitting area with a lagoon view and BBQ equipment for grilling. Overall it was a great value in a great location and a great house.

Amazing home to safely escape the pandemic bringing 3 family bubbles together. The house was large enough for common space gatherings while also allowing distance for individual time. The roof top deck was a favorite for sunset happy hours and star gazing. The pool was unbelievable and made it feel like an all-inclusive resort. The heater kept the pool and hot tub super hot even though we had nights in the 30’s. Finally the professionalism from the entire staff at 5 Star was exceptional. From check-in, handling any issue that arose, to check-out they were always there timely, efficient and respected our safety. The entire experience was a phenomenal escape during this stressful time.

"Not everything works ..."

We booked this house for a 70th bday week inviting three couples to join. The location was excellent and neighborhood exceptional but several things were not working or missing in the house to the point we stopped asking maintenance and decided to just enjoy what we could. I sent a list when we left of the issues we encountered. Be aware if you are expecting basic features that are advertised ask about them first to make they are operating. One thing I failed to put in my list were the mattress pads need replacing. Pretty disgusting. I wished I had not changed the sheets to discover it.

"Rooms With A View"

We stayed at The Pelagic Blue for a long weekend and greatly enjoyed our vacation. The home is right on the beach, and each room is a sanctuary with comfortable beds, spa-like bathrooms, and lovely amenities. Hearing the waves from your room, on the balconies, sitting around the fire pit, or on the beach itself is absolutely priceless. The home is minutes away from excellent restaurants and outlet shopping, but if you want to stay in, the kitchen is fully stocked so you can cook to your heart's content. We felt very lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful home, and we can't wait to book it again.

Gulf Breeze is so well appointed and the property owners have truly put their heart and personality into the blissful surroundings.
Tasteful, elegant, oozing relaxation and a superb choice for generational families. We had an 20 month old and a 74 year old and the beachfront beauty plays well to them and all those in between.
All positives for this well-located vacation getaway.

"The Watchtower"

The house was beautiful, location was perfect, easily walkable to all the shops, restaurants and beach.
Our main disappointment was the kitchen. There is a beautiful Viking range, but a hodge podge of cooking equipment. It badly needs a fresh set of pots and pans and some organization of the what's in the drawers.
Also seems like it's time to do a little touch up on the paint.
That being said, we had an incredible time and will definitely stay again.
