I am 78 yrs. old, and my feet have been a constant problem for me. I am also fugal and custom insoles seemed to be extravagant. These have changed my life. I play golf and after a round it would take the next day to recover. Now, I feal great the next day.

I went from everyday pain, to zero pain within a few days. I am an industrial maintenance mechanic and I’m on my feet 50+ hrs/week. The active insoles have given me such renewed energy that I began a new job on my 69th birthday!

"Cause profound pronation and do not have heel cups"

I ordered two pairs of insoles from them. I walked for several miles, increasing the time each day as instructed. I noticed that the insoles were causing profound pronation and pain on the outside of my knee. I called Biltlabs/Urthotics. They said to just change the shoes and that their orthotics do not do anything to help pronation. When I went to change the shoes, I noticed that my store bought (non-custom) insoles had quite strong heel cups. The Bilt Labs do not. The Bilt Labs also take up too much room in the toe box, squishing my toes and not letting them spread out. The arch also feels like it is too far forward. Hence it is likely that these “custom” orthotics could both not help with pronation and are likely causing it. The insoles I bought at REI and Dr. Scholl’s, and Abeo, all have nice strong heel cups. The Bilt lab/Urthotic insoles do not. These are the worst insoles I’ve ever had. I talked to the company on the phone and they offered to re-do the insoles and address my concerns. However, I don’t have any trust in the company after I made the foot impression in foam and then received these awful insoles. What good does the foam impression do? It sounds like the company was just going to make adjustments based on my comments, not the foam impression, and I would just end up with a product like what I bought off the counter, not custom, but end up paying many times more for it. There must be something fundamentally wrong with how they create their product. They sent me a mailing label and will refund my fee when they receive the insoles as a returned item, so at least the company has integrity.

They were an excellent price. They were fast with the order. It was correct. I got the Active pair and they fit great they relieved the pain in my feet. And are comfortable I don’t even realize I have them in. I would highly recommend them.

I was skeptical at first that a pair of custom insoles would alleviate my pain, but I was proven wrong. I had already tried different shoes and work boots, and nothing would alleviate my pain. My wife got me an “Active” version and they have been immensely helpful to my feet and my work day.

I started out "doubting" because I haven't found complete answers to my issues anywhere. Also, I doubt email/letter information because of "hackers", and I'm old. But, I like URthotics complete information and instructions. The follow-through was perfect, exactly as describe. Plus, the final product is as advertised, a product of relief and comfort for me.
